Shipping took some time but was super fast after emailing the company asking for an explanation of the delays. I just received this today, so keep that in mind when considering the possible longevity of this machine. First things first....I’m 5’5, 135 lbs, and had no issues moving the box into my home or even putting it together by myself. That alone is quite a feat because when I was 17, I joined the military and aced every portion of the ASVAB except the mechanical part (to the point where jokes were made to keep me away from tanks and I’ll be okay). In summation, I’m not mechanically inclined. Every piece feels heavy duty and of good quality, aside from the fact it’s made in China. The only two pieces that seemed cheap and pointless were the cup holder (oddly positioned between your feet) and the flimsy phone holder. I didn’t even attach the phone holder because I intend to listen to music or watch shows using my TV while I work out. The seat is comfy, although slightly firm and the rowing handles are comfortable, although the padding on one side kept sliding off during use. The foot straps feel sturdy, the tank was easy to fill, and I love the sound of the water moving while I work. Overall, I’d score this purchase a 4.5 out of 5 stars and feel it’s an excellent bargain for $399. Update, 06/15/2021: So far, it’s held up incredibly well! I even moved and it remained intact. This was a wonderful purchase.

I love this rower! I've always used air rowers at gyms but wanted one for my house and I thought I'd give teh water rower a try. It's so quiet and has a really relaxing, meditative "swoosh" sound with each row. It was pretty easy to assemble - the instructions were clear and all of the pieces were together. I would definitely recommend 2 people to assemble it. I am very happy with this rower and it's a great price too!

Pretty solid equipment at a decent price. I assembled it by myself in ~30 minutes and have been using it regularly. Overall I'm happy, it seems to be sturdy and made of quality materials. I do have 2 minor issues. First, the resistance is quite a bit lower than I expected. This is my first water rower and I knew they had less resistance than the magnetic/fan ones, but I have the water at max level and it's pretty easy even for someone in as bad of shape as I am. I find that I just need to do longer sessions to get a workout. The more problematic issue is that the digital display doesn't go to sleep automatically like it should. That means it eats thru batteries in a matter of days. It can be used without the display but this is a disappointing issue as the display is helpful for distance & workout info. Overall I'm happy, but I debated 3 or 4 stars due to the display problem.

I know there is a build quality in this price range difference for sure. I researched over and over and over but if you are going to spend $300 plus on THIS one, I'd spend $700 plus and get a real decent one (nordic or sunny health or something like that ) because you don't want to be disappointed in spending 300 plus dollars for sure. This one is a great deal at 150 but that is about it. The digital screen will quit right away and useless, the ipad holder is a joke and useless. The feet straps hurt your feet and will break and require a diy solution soon after purchasing it if you actually use it at all. It is sad they know to charge double the price it is worth because it is double that before you can actually get anything better. Better off to get something else or nothing at all because it stinks to be sad you spend this kind of money and will end up selling at a yard sale for $50 IF YOUR LUCKY! AND PROBABLY MORE LIKE GIVING IT AWAY IN A YEAR OR SO....

Wow. I’m actually shocked at how nice this rower is. It arrived super fast (thank you), it’s expertly packed (thank you factory peeps), it has easy instructions on how to assemble the few items (took about 25 minutes by myself). I can’t get over how sturdy it is. Very well engineered. Great job! (Not a paid or even requested review.)

With less than 10 minutes of use the rubber on the handle is already breaking off at the ends. Also the display screen doesn’t register any activity. I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting in every possible combination (as the instructions on how to connect are not very specific) but I get nothing. Also the diagrams in the assembly manual are so small it’s impossible to discern the proper bolt and washer configuration. *** after contacting the seller I was sent instructions and a video link to remove the cover of the machine and adjust the induction rods which happened to be glued down . Easier said than done but I did manage to do it. And with that adjustment it does seem to work.

Easy to assemble - Mum (me 😁) and son put it together in an hour. Its silent and soothing. Very quiet during actual rowing workout. I wish the monitor was bluetooth enabled so I could connect to appls but...I'm rowing for general fitness and fun and dont really need to track data so much. Its a good purchase overall.

Super happy with this rower. Super easy to assemble. Screws came labeled with the steps they belonged to. The steps in the instructions guide were easy to read. I mentally had a two hour timeline as a treadmill (a while back) took me over four and a half hours to put together, but I was literally done in under 20 minutes! It’s super quiet. It’s super smooth. I wish the resistance was a little more but by the time I get to 5000m I’m pretty spent. It’s one of those items I wished I could by more of but realistically I don’t need two rowers.
