I couldn’t be happier with this dog life jacket! I purchased the size XS for my 6-pound chihuahua, and it fits her perfectly. I would give it SIX stars if i could!!! My Border Collie LOVES IT I think she would wear it out wear it, she has USED it a number of times at the lake and it is pretty awesome, So a big thank you, and I highly recommend it.It fits great!!!!!

Love this but feel like the sizing is way off. I had originally purchased a medium for my border collie mix and it was NOT big enough. So maybe consider sizing up. Although my BC had a ridiculous amount of hair so perhaps he’s just extra thick. Once we got the right size though it was great. He looked super official in his lifeguard vest of course he was in no way qualified to save anyone. Either way he had a great time swimming with us and we are super happy with our purchase

UPDATE: This jacket doesn't have the strength needed for the XL dogs. Went to help him get in the boat, and it completely tore, compromising it and my dog. So disappointed. It needs better stitching and strap quality. If you literally never plan to use the strap, it's great. I should have known for the price that quality would suffer somewhere. My 3rd life jacket purchase. 1st didn't have enouh flotation, 2nd had great flotation, but neck/chest opening didn't close. This jacket is almost big on him in the body, and the neck enclosure is perfect when almost fully open. Velcro is almost too strong, very effective. Do wish it had a chin rest, and not sure the handle has enough reinforcement or sturdiness on this big model, but I am very happy to have something that works, is bright, and I feel safe with.

Perfect for my 2 lb toy poodle puppy.in teaching her to swim and know she is safe around the pool with us. It will be adjustable as she gets larger and I love the handle in case I need to do a quick rescue.

EDIT: Came back to say that post-beach day, I was correct in thinking the handle on the back felt cheap. I didn't think about the fact that the leash 'D' hook was attached to it though, and after my puppy pulled hard a couple of times chasing the waves on the shore, the whole handle ripped off with the leash, leaving her free on the beach. I was able to luckily grab her collar quick, but could have been a different story. If you have a dog who pulls this is NOT durable enough for them!!!!!!! Getting my dogs ready for a boat day, and they both need vests. I’ve been having trouble sizing them, so have tried on a few, and I will be ordering the second dog hers shortly! I have a wolf dog, as well as a pittie, so both ends of the spectrum. My dingo is really tall, long, and skinny! I ordered the large, and although she’s right on the cusp, it seemed a little too loose in the belly. She’ll need a medium, which I’m ordering. She’s roughly 50 lbs, and this gave her great coverage. My pittie, who is also roughly 50lbs, is pretty short and stubby. This perfectly sausaged her into safety. It’s seemed a lot thicker than expected, as well as the velcro around the tummy seemed a lot more secure. The snaps all seem really heavy duty and durable to make sure she stays secured. This also has a hook for a leash, which is helpful since they can’t be harnessed up. My only issue is the handles do not seem durable. And feel like they will rip right off the vest if we try to use them. I don’t know that we’d ever need to use this, but something to think about if you do want it as a feature! Overall, extremely happy with this and hold it holds up for our summer beach days!

This life vest is working very well for my dog. He is about 29 pounds and I ordered the medium. I felt the jacket was very secure and did not ride up while in the water. It stayed snug to his body, allowing him to move comfortably. Overall, I am very satisfied.

La talla Ch le quedó perfecta, me encantó el velcro que tiene en la parte baja porque lo ajusta muy bien, del cuello le quedó perfecto, lo usaremos para su terapia en el agua, aún no lo usa, pero daré reseñas si flota bien, por lo demás en materiales muy bien, por el precio, estoy muy contenta ☺ y SAM también.

Exactly what our elderly dog needed when help was required for getting him in and out of the pool.

This is a good quality vest and helps my doggo to swim more easily. I have a 75 lb lab and the large is a perfect size. Easy to put on and remove. He swims just fine without it, but he has occasional epileptic seizures so when he swims in the lake, I need to keep him safe, just in case. He does not mind it at all and looks extra handsome as a lifeguard! :)
