I rarely write reviews, but in this case I decided to write. My knee has been hurting for a week, I can't walk, I'm limping. I smeared it with different ointments and 5% lidocaine for a whole week, mozazal and glued patches on my knee. Nothing helped. I found Blue go on the Internet. Now I'm happy. I've been smearing it for only a day, the pain is 90% gone. This is a great product. I recommend it to everyone. Try it.

Stop wasting your money on expensive (certainly not cheap) pain relieving gels and lotions and buy Blue Goo! This gel is JUST as effective as Biofreeze (and other leading competitors) for a FRACTION of the cost! I have no idea why anyone would review this with LESS than 5 stars. No, it doesn’t smell the BEST, but I’ve smelled a LOT worse. It starts off as a slightly present, fruity scent and then mellows out to almost nothing. Even Biofreeze has a stronger scent! It is probably the best smelling pain relieving gel I’ve ever purchased, and if I’m being completely honest, I wouldn’t have cared if it had smelled like stale cigarettes as long as it works, and I’ve tried probably every gel/lotion/patch available at the pharmacy. I purchase perfume and body sprays based on scent, NOT pain relieving gel hahaha. This is by far the best gel I’ve used all-around. For this price point, I’d be shocked if it had competition at all! Gels and lotions that ACTUALLY work usually run around $15 and up. Blue Goo is strong and lasts- the cooling affect is present for awhile after application. If in doubt, just try it out. There isn’t much to lose- if you don’t like it, at least it didn’t break your bank! Just toss it and start over, but I doubt you will because it works!

This blue goo pain relieving gel smells nice but doesn't really alleviate the pain. I bought a very similar produce at the Dollar Tree that did the same thing for a $1.25. Save your money and buy it there.

It packs a big punch even with the slightest bit of gel applied to area. It is also non-greasy and in my opinion has a very fresh, airy and somewhat earthy aroma as well. My top pro however for buying it, was I got it as a sample and since then I ordered one a few years back to overcome a wrist injury (both wrists were sprained but one had stronger pain than the other) from a benching injury at the gym. It worked incredibly well and penetrated deep into the muscle tissue, it also lasted long enough to work through it. My second time using it was for a lower and mid back ache years ago, it was highly effective however due to the severity of it required application every 3-4 hours. For *most* aches and pains, such as neck or shoulder pain I say it's the best lotion in the market. I have tried menthol creams which have more of a surface area effect that while effective does not necessarily penetrate to the extent that Blue Goo's EMU oil version does, this one however goes beyong just the surface area - it won't just null the pain and cause a cold-hot/hot-cold effect it will actually go further than a menthol lotion would and thus, can last longer time period while being very effective. For the purposes of gym, strenuous activity and general ache purposes I have recommend this product to dates, co workers and friends and it will be my go to going forward. Form factor: Another incredible benefit actually is the "pop top" opening that does not require a separate cap, so for those traveling or wanting this it's great. The long side bottle actually fits in most cabinets, bathroom storage units and most bags (ziplock bags too). In this regard it's also the best designed pain relief product as it's made for the purpose of quickly picking up and using as necessary. I highly recommend it even if you don't have a need for it right now, you may need it in the future and you'll be more than glad you had it on hand.
