Hatha Yoga Pradipika Hardcover – August 1, 1997

I don't know if this is the absolute best Pradipika but for the price, it works. I bought it to read for my yoga teacher training-it got the job done but it made for choppy reading to have three different translations of each statement.BUT it gets the job done. So if you want it for the enjoyment for reading, I'd look else where. If you need it to read for a specific purpose, this isn't a bad choice and it is translated well.

Excellent book with well translated writing within. Great for all those yoga enthusiasts looking for more in depth understanding of the beginnings of yoga.Great service from seller. You can depend on them and their quick service. Book was in great condition. Hard back and clean pages.

Seems to be a reprint of an old edition with varied printing quality but still a reasonable go-to reference.

The translation by Pancham Sinh is very poor and compared to other versions, it is a let down. Many pages have errors in verse number and the corresponding translation and transliteration.Thumbs down to this particular version.Please note that 'Hatha Yoga Pradipika' is a great book and I am only rating this version of the translation down.

I like this version. It's very straight forward.
