D.Y. TOY - The Original Weasel Ball, Interactive Motion Toy 3 Pack

My African Grey Parrot loves the Weasel! It's a great toy and was years ago when we bought the 1st one. Delightfully, this one works even better than the first one we had.So this toy isn't sold as a toy for parrots, but this weasel really entertains my parrot....yours may love it ,too!

First of all, very difficult to get into the battery compartment because the screws are tiny and extremely tight. Once i finally got it open and placed the battery (1-AA) it was rediculous trying to put the tiny screws back in and THEN..find out I put the battery in upside down. So I had to start over. Finally after the fight to place a single battery, I turned it on and my cat and my dog just stared at it and are completely uninterested. Maybe a pet ferret would enjoy this toy and someone with tiny little fingers and tiny little screw driver will find it easier to place a dang battery in it. Good Luck!

My dog finally killed the first one I bought so this time I got him three he loves to play with them and we have fun playing together with it! I roll it on the ground and let it go around the house! Mochi loves chasing it killing it then bring it back to me! We do it all over again! He like playing on its own with it too!

I bought this cat toy in hopes it would be a safe, entertaining toy for my cat. I had concerns as soon as I opened the box and saw what looked like short hair strands on the ball. See Photo One. I hadn’t even taken the toy out of the box yet. Three such toys in separate little boxes came with the order. All the balls had hair like strands on them before even being taken out of box. Photo Two shows the part of the toy that is attached to the ball. It has fake fur like material that sheds very easily and quite a bit when handled. Anyone who has a pet cat knows that cats like to lick things they play with. I don’t want my cat ingesting the fake fur strands. Another concern as seen in Photo Three is that the fake animal is attached to the ball by a thin plastic piece which makes little sense. That piece of plastic is a potential choke hazard for a cat if they chew it apart or for a crawling infant if the chewed off plastic piece is left lying about. Lastly, though not why I am returning the toy, is that a very tiny phillips screwdriver is required to unscrew a lid that covers the compartment where you insert one battery. Battery does not come with toy. Based on my safety concerns I cannot recommend this product and will be returning the order for a refund.

My dog loves, but they don't last long.. two weeks tops.. so I was buying (3 pack) every 6-8 weeks. The weasel attachment is on a tiny, thin plastic line and breaks easily. It was pretty expensive, but it is too much now.. the price has gone up $5.00 since my last purchase delivered 6 weeks ago. They had a steady customer, but I can't justify that.

Great value as a pet toy to keep high energy dogs occupied with minimal supervision. Cali, my Jack Russell (?) / Corgi (?) / Datsun (?) mix, absolutely loves to chase this around as long as I let her. She likes it so much that she'll actually stare up at the shelf I keep it on when she thinks it's time for a Weasel Ball session. Oddly enough, she doesn't really care about the weasel itself so I don't bother to reattach it after she's chewed through the zip ties that hold it on. I have few complaints, but am still giving it 5 stars because of its high value compared to other options in the same price range.Cali is an aggressive chewer and can just manage to get her jaws around it, so she periodically manages to pop the two halves apart and eventually broke the first one I got her. At least for her, this might be fixed by it being just a little larger. Another option might be a tough rubber cover that slips over it, kind of like what is available for the Sphero robot. Also, the first version I had was turned on and off just by opening and closing the battery compartment. I originally thought it would be nice if there was an external on/off button so one wouldn't need to unscrew the two halves apart just to turn it on and off. The second one I got had such a button, but it wasn't protected enough to prevent Cali from periodically hitting the button by accident and turning it off.

Wasn't sure if my cats would go for these 😞😞 at first, so I just put one down to test it out with my 5 cats.. They were all jumping around like bunnies to catch it.. Put the other 2 down and watched them all playing and having fun till they tired themselves out. Brought me lots of laughs watching my cats have such a good time . My oldest cat is almost 15 and on the grumpy side , he played right along with the younger cats without being a party pooper and he got a much needed workout in lieu of napping all day9x☺️
