Chooz Calcium Carbonate Antacid Sugar Free Mint Gum, 12 Pieces

Back in 1970 during my first pregnancy my doctor recommended Chooz for my heartburn during 9 months of pregnancy. 4 years later I did a repeat for the second child. These are so old, my grandfather used them. Tried and true, this calcium gum is the quick and safe way to handle heartburn. I have used them for decades and I was so happy to find them available at Amazon. When I was a kid, you could pick these up in any drugstore or quick mart. Today, more “modern“ medicines are available , but more modern does not mean better!

I have used Chooz for many years. It works for me better than any chewable antacid. I need it once in a while when my Nexium may need a little help at the end of the day. And it's pretty good gum and very minty. A little pricey but worth it.

This works great for upset stomach and works fast.

Good taste not bad at all it’s a great way to get calcium

I was hoping these would work as well as Alka Seltzer Gum, that doesn’t seem to be available anymore. I have tried them a few times now, didn’t help at all
