Great quality, great looking
Installed this rack on our 2022 Kia Sorento with OEM roof crossbars. I should also mention we have the moon roof option as well in case you're worried about that (just don't open the moon roof while this is installed). I had this thing assembled and installed on the roof in an hour. This rack feels solid and I liked how it prevents water from entering assembly points by providing rubber gaskets. Very well thought out. Listened to the other reviews and didn't tighten down the front wind guard too tight and I've had no issues with it cracking. The actual adapters that mount it to the crossbars are very nice. One reason I liked this over the others was the cheaper options on Amazon have those dinky U-bolt adapters which people seemed to have some issues with. These ones are essentially heavy duty clamp style ones that comes with the higher end cargo racks. They have a nice weight to them, plus nice padding. The bolts for the adapters do require the special Allen key that comes with this to tighten and loosen. I'm guessing this is to make it harder for someone to steal this off your roof, so make sure to keep that Allen key in your glove box! With any roof rack/cargo basket, there's wind noise. There's really no getting around this. You might be able to dampen it a little with a modified wind guard, but that's only going to do so much. It honestly just sounds like you have your fans on high when at 70+ mph and I got used to it pretty fast. With cargo bag on top, it had an effect on my mpg, but not as bad as I though (maybe a loss of 2-3 mpg). With rack empty, I don't see a drop. Aesthetically, this one looks awesome. Compared to the cheaper options which are just rectangular baskets, this looks wayyyy better. I saw a few while on the road and am glad I went with this one. The cheap ones look cheap. All in all, this is worth the extra $$ compared to cheaper options out there. From seeing the cheaper ones up close, compared to this one, there is 100% a difference in quality. I even saw some Thule's on the road and this looked similar. I think this might actually be larger too. On top of that, its $200-$300 cheaper then the Thules. 5/5. Pay the extra and get this one.

Sturdy and Reliable Roof Rack - Recommended
I recently purchased this roof rack, and I'm pleased to say that it has met my expectations and then some. Here's why I recommend it: Sturdy Construction: This roof rack is exceptionally well-built and sturdy. It can handle a variety of cargo without any issues, providing peace of mind during trips. Its durability is a standout feature, and it feels like a solid investment. Minimal Complaints: While, like any roof rack, it adds some wind noise due to its design, I can confidently say that this is a minor inconvenience compared to its overall performance. The noise is manageable and expected with any roof-mounted cargo solution, so it's not a significant drawback. Does the Job: Ultimately, this roof rack does precisely what I needed it to do. It securely holds my cargo, making it a valuable addition for my outdoor adventures. Its functionality and reliability make it an essential tool for my travels. For anyone in search of a high-quality roof rack at a fair price, this is a great option to consider. It's proven to be dependable, and its sturdiness sets it apart. I'm keeping mine, and I believe it will serve others just as well.

Good Budget Rack For 2021 4Runner - Needs Mod To Work With OEM Crossbars
We needed a cargo rack/basket for our 2021 4Runner ORP to haul our camping and off-roading gear. We didn't need a high-end or permanent cargo rack since we also have a Thule Cargo Box for our snowboarding trips. I ultimately narrowed my choices down to this, the Rola V-Tex, and the Rhino Rack X Tray. Based on my research (and I did waaaaay too much, just ask my wife), these three met our needs and were all comparable. The Rola V-Tex is a fairly popular budget basket in the 4Runner community, but I was scared off by all the horror rust stories. That narrowed my choices down to this and the Rhino Rack. What's interesting is that these two racks look nearly identical, have similar dimensions, and have very similar features. I ultimately went with Tyger due to the price and the extra rust-prevention features. What I Like: This cargo basket was fairly straightforward to assemble. The materials are pretty solid and the welds look good. I was mindful of not over-tightening the wind deflector screws after reading about others cracking theirs. The size meets our camping/off-roading needs and is the perfect length for our 4Runner with a sunroof. Not to mention, it looks pretty sharp on our truck. I've seen a number of people checking out our truck when we have this on. What I Don't Like: My biggest problem with this product is that the included mounting hardware are too long and do not work on the 4Runner's OEM crossbars. I had two options... 1) Go out and buy shorter bolts, or 2) Throw my Thule Wingbar Evo bars on the truck. Despite increasing the profile of the rack, I opted for the second option. It would be great if they had lower profile hardware so that I could mount this directly to my OEM crossbars. Also, while not a complaint on my end since I've been using various roof racks for many years, beware that this will decrease your mileage and introduce some wind noise, especially if you have a sunroof/moonroof. Final Thoughts: While I've only used this basket twice, it has met all my needs so far. I haven't done any of the tricks mentioned by others to further waterproof and rustproof the basket since I do not leave this on our truck. I'm going to hold off on doing any rustproofing until I do see any signs of rust to see how the manufacturer rustproofing features hold up. I'll be sure to report back in the future about what happens. Yes, you can find cheaper baskets on Amazon, but based on my research, it comes at a cost. I currently recommend this to anyone looking for a solid budget cargo basket. Whether you're looking for something for your outdoor adventures or simply something to pick-up women/men while mall crawling, this is a great cargo basket!

Just buy it.
This thing rocks easy to build, and looks great! I was able to mount it alone in about 45 minutes total. It’s so sturdy I can do pull ups through my sunroof. It feels rock solid. I put it on a 21 Forester and it looks great on an SUV of that size. It would also be great on something like a Renegade or Crosstrek.

Aesthetically, the rack looks really cool. It has a nice textured coating on it which will hopefully last. Since the basket angles inward at the top it is smaller than most. The inside width at the top is 30.5”. As recommended by other reviewers, I used silicone around the bolt holes and used blue loctite on the bolt threads. My only gripe is that the lower bracket that attaches to the roof rack hits my moon roof when I try to open it. I never open it, but it’s useless now. I like how the bolts that screw into the bracket are tamper free. Unfortunately, they only offer one proprietary hex key, so if you lose it good luck.

Fits my 2017 Ford Explorer well. Went together fairly smoothly. The quality seems good and I really like the look. Allowed me to mount lights to it no problem. Very happy!
