Worms are thriving.
I ordered some worms this summer, and I cannot say that I pampered them as I had hoped to, because that’s how the summer went. In spite of that, these guys are fat and thriving, and I attribute that to this food. I’ve split them into three totes, along with the soil from the flower baskets, and sprinkled some of this on top, and they crunched it right up. Nice product.

Uncle Jim's Work Food: A Nutritious Treat for Your Worms and Composting Journey
I recently purchased Uncle Jim's Work Food to feed the worms in my garden and composting bin. While I didn't have the chance to try it with my first batch of worms (unfortunately, they arrived deceased), the second batch of survivors showed a clear preference for this food. Uncle Jim's Work Food is a great option for those who are just starting their composting journey or establishing a new garden. It provides a nutritious treat for the worms, helping to enhance their growth and overall well-being. The worms seemed to enjoy it, eagerly diving into the compost bin to feast on it. However, if you already have an established composting section or garden, this product may not be necessary. The worms in my composting bin were more focused on the organic matter within the bin itself and didn't return to the surface to consume the rest of the food from the bag. In such cases, the worms may already have abundant food sources available, making additional food less essential. Overall, Uncle Jim's Work Food is a good product that serves its purpose well for those starting their composting journey or setting up a new garden. It provides a nutritious boost for the worms and promotes their well-being. However, if you already have an established composting section or garden, you may find that the worms are more interested in the organic matter within the bin itself. Nonetheless, I recommend giving this product a try, especially if you're just getting started with composting.

Keeps worms fed and healthy, has additives to balance their needs.
Keeps worms happy. We use a worm farm composting bin but with only my wife and I, we don't always produce enough fresh stuff to feed properly. With the food, no problem to supplement as needed. In my situation, I have about double worms than normal as I will use them for fishing all summer. Live far from bait shop, near good lakes, but in town so digging worm is not a simple matter. Driving for them too costly. So, lot of worms to keep fed and less costly than travel and buying bait. They are growing great. Also producing worm casts for our raised garden boxes and potted plants.
