FERNIDA Ear Plugs for Noise Reduction, Reusable Silicone Anti-Noise Earplugs for Sleeping Snoring Traveling Studying Working, Oval 3-Layer Hearing Protection, 40dB Noise Cancelling

I bought 3 different ear plug sets from different brands and these were the best. I am not used to wearing ear plugs often and have recently found more need for them, to dampen neighbor noise while traveling. I have also used foam ear plugs and these are much more comfortable. I tried all 3 sets of ear plugs and did not like the other 2 at all. They didn’t dampen noise as much, and weren’t very comfortable. I would note that all 3 sets were very highly rated in reviews, and the other 2 were the single bud kind, rather than the triple layer like this one. I found this one to be perfectly comfortable for sleeping all night. No ear ache like I get from foam ear plugs. They stayed in all night. These go deeper into the ear canal than the single layer “bud” style plugs, which might seem less comfortable. But these are definitely MORE comfortable. The triple layer also seems to make noise dampening more effective. The whole piece is soft and fits nicely into my ear. Easy to remove and wash clean. They do not mute all sound. I doubt any ear plug could mute all sound, but these dampen enough to make it easier to sleep through hotel neighbor noise. This is what I wanted. The other 2 ear plugs I tried, did not dampen much sound at all. For example, I could still hear the drone of my central AC with them in. However, I could not hear the AC drone with this set of ear plugs. Foam ear plugs work for sound also, but they make my ears ache and tend to pop out during the night. These didn’t budge all night and I didn’t really notice them, other than my awareness that I had put them in. I’m a side sleeper and had zero issue with these. Bottom line: I found these ear plugs to be the most comfortable and effective of all those I tried. I ordered more to have a couple spares. I like to keep extras of particularly good products for when they inevitably get discontinued. Haha

I have an Auditory Processing Disorder and use different sets of ear plugs on and off throughout the day to help with concentration and auditory focus. I was looking for a pair of comfortable, reusable ear plugs to for sleep and these definitely fit the bill. I'm not sure I fully believe the NRR of 40 but they do help block noise from outside or my partner's snoring. I can still hear things like the AC, fan, or other white noise but that is fine by me. I like that they have the "wings" to hold them into the ear so the plugs can't slide too far in and rarely fall out during sleep. Some of the other reviews said the plugs were too big for the wearer's ear and I could definitely see that being the case for someone with small ear canals. I would give them 5 stars of they blocked out more noise but I am definitely satisfied with my purchase.

I have a very petite face and wear child-size glasses, hats, and earbuds. I need hearing protection at times but was never able to shove a gigantic foam or plastic earplug into my itty-bitty ear canal. Anything marketed as adult-sized is a no-go for me. These earplugs are SO soft and petite. They conform to my ear canal, and the additional "shark fin" keeps them secure. I think they give me better noise suppression because they actually fit and stay in place, even when I am sweating mowing the lawn. They are so comfortable, I honestly forget I am wearing them, even after hours of having them in. Additionally, I hated the waste associated with single-use foam earplugs. I love that these can be sanitized and reused indefinitely. Lastly, I like that they look like wireless earbuds. It's much more socially acceptable - for example sitting in a coffee shop - than wearing neon yellow foam plugs. Because they are visible, people understand that I am wearing something in my ears, and they know I can't hear them until I remove them. If I could give these earplugs TEN STARS, I would!

These earplugs don't really block out any sound. They are flimsy and would be difficult to use for many, because of the way they are formed. The extra loop doesn't fit in like it shows in the picture, making them awkward. I wanted earplugs that were more comfortable for long term use, as regular foam ones can hurt after a while. I was very disappointed. Live and learn.

Really works for blocking sound. However, despite it being made from medical grade silicone, they irritated my ears too much to use :(

I bought these to wear at night so I could sleep without hearing the husband snoring. I usually use foam type earplugs but was looking for something reusable. The first time I tried these, they fit well and were comfortable. I could hear my husband walk down the hall. Later I could still hear the snoring. I thought this was a waste. The next day I was helping the husband cut some project wood. I decided to try the ear plugs again. THESE ARE THE STRANGEST EAR PLUGS i HAVE EVER USED! I could hear my husband talking. I could hear the cars driving by. I was nervous when It was time to turn on the saw. These ear plugs worked great! My ears did not hurt to the sound of the cutting. While these may not be good for blocking out sound, they are great for reducing loud sounds and protecting your hearing. My husband said they would be great at a concert.

I have large ear canals so this may not be the fault of the product. For me there is zero noise reduction when I wear them. I can wiggle them until I find a sweet spot, but even then the noise reduction is minimal and only lasts until I move at all. If you are average, these may work fine. I'm sure I could send them back, but I'm not driving to the post office, then waiting in line for $12.

These earplugs go with me every time I travel. They’re great when you’re sharing a room and the other person/people snore. They’re also great when I need to drown out crying babies on the plane. I like that they have the wings, so less likely to lose. Even if they fall out during the night, I can easily find it in the morning. They’re also simple to clean with a q-tip and are pretty durable.

When I first unpacked these I was disappointed, I didn't think there was any way they'd help me sleep. As a very light sleeper with a partner who snores... LOUDLY, I have been struggling for a few months staying asleep. I tried these for the first time and sleep right through the night. It's worth it and a decent price!

I have ASD and for the longest time since I've been a child I've had to wear earplugs 24/7 to mask all sounds to not only to be able to focus, but also to just "be", until now. I can still hear sounds, but I am in awe of the level of reduction of trigger sounds with my first use. The buzzing from a lawn mower - gone, but I can still hear the music I have playing. I am so happy with these, now I will still be able to hear when I NEED to, something I've struggled with in the past as I've constantly had to take my earplugs out to hear someone who is actually talking to me. I look forward to trying them out tonight when I hear every single noise coming from outside as people talk or when a coyote yips, hoping they might even cut down the noise level of the TV when it's on, just below my room. What I also like about these earplugs is I can adjust them by pulling them out a bit without having to totally remove them. They fit my ears and they are washable. to sum it up, I am glad I bought 2 pairs, one for work/daily life and one for sleep. Update - Down to a 3-star rating - one of the loops has already snapped apart, after just a couple of nights' use. Not worth returning, they still work, but any more breakage and I'll be tossing them.

These are excellent earplugs. They fit very comfortably in my ear and they block out noise. I've worn MANY earplugs because I am a light sleeper and have purchased 100's in bulk (disposable) throughout the years. These are definitely the best! And they are washable. Will definitely recommend them.
