This does work with small taps; the jaws have a step in them for small taps. Just as good as any brand available, and you won't bend the handle. The tap will break before this happens.

It is a really well built handle and feels solid. I used it to chase some existing threads and get the rust out. It did the job well. However I can't give it 5 stars because it does not fit a M10 tap. Another reviewer noted this. I had to bend the prongs a little to get it to go into the tool, and then the lock nut would not tighten down. However I still managed to use it to get the job done. When I purchase smaller taps in the future, this should work great.

Worked exactly as advertised! I would suggest watching a YouTube video to understand how drilling and tapping works so that you do it correctly. Very happy though!

This is a good tool, but unfortunately I had to return and get a larger one. It goes up to 1/4 tap size - NOT bit size! I needed it for a heli-coil tap that has a 1/4 square bit. A tap that is 1/4 across would presumably attach to the tool with a bit that's narrower than that. Just something to consider if you are looking for a wrench to use with a large bit.

Nice tap handle, especially for the money, but I couldn't use it. Needed it for an M4-0.7 tap, & that size tap is just a bit too small for this handle to grip. Would prob. work fine for taps larger than that. Nice enough though, so I'm not sending it back.

Worked great. Tapped easily over 100 holes. Wear leather gloves to prevent blisters as its not exactly meant to do 100 holes in a day
