Five Stars
Versa Gripps Pros are great and superior products. My 2 thumbs up on Versa Gripps Pros. Durable. I bought my Versa Gripps Pros on November, 2014. I used them regularly, and, in October, 2016, almost 2 years later, they were in great condition. I could lift very heavy weight successfully and repeatedly with Versa Gripps Pros on my hands with good grip without too much discomfort in my hands and wrists. They're not too uncomfortable, and they’re versatile. I can wrap them forward and use them with pushing exercises. I can wrap them backward and use them with pulling exercises. I can use them on many different exercises. I can use them with barbells. I can use them with dumbbells. They’re lightweight, not too heavy. They fit well on my hands, and they’re easy to use. Appearance-wise my Versa Gripps Pros are good. I like my blue pacific with black Versa Gripps Pros appearance. Versa Gripps Pros are similar to and better than Versa Gripps CLASSICS . A Versa Gripps Pro medium/large seems to be a bit larger/longer than a Versa Gripps Classic medium/large and the surface on the Versa Gripps Pro is smoother. After using Versa Gripps Classics and using Versa Gripps Pros later, I prefer the Versa Gripps Pros. The Pros are a bit more expensive than the Classics on amazon on Sept. 2017. Versa Gripps Pros are also similar to straps like Anvil Fitness straps and Rip Toned straps , but straps are much cheaper on amazon. I have used straps before, and I liked them. I love Versa Gripps, but after losing 2 Versa Gripps, I bought cheaper Rip Toned straps , and, after wearing and using the Rip Toned straps with some dumbbells, I can say Versa Gripps Pros are better and easier to use. I recommend lifting heavy weights with Versa Gripps for good grip.

KICK AZZ WRAPS
Best grips out there. Fast and furious attachment and they won't fade out in a year. Good quality and great support. Lift heavier and harder with these wraps

Weight lifting wraps
Excellent product. I just replace this one with a previous one that I used for more than 20 years of the same brand.

An essential tool for hypertrophy training
Versa Gripps are a game changer. I had tried some other types of straps but after having seen a lot of hype for VGs I decided to give them a try, and I was not disappointed! They're well made and do exactly what they were designed to do; help improve grip, maximize weight, and isolate muscles. The Pro versions are exceptionally grippy, have a nice little bump at the end of the pad to secure the hold, and have a little extra length, which I find beneficial even with smaller hands and wrists. Also love the colors, which might not seem important, but training is hard and a splash of color put a bright spot in the midst of pain. There are some people I've heard from say "I don't need straps because I want work on my grip strength". Those same people have eventually started using these and expirenced substantial improvements to their training. There are some misconceptions about these having a negative effect on grip training, however, they don't eliminate grip strength, they eliminate the limitations of grip. When you're doing a heavy set of barbell or dumbbell rows or stiffleg deadlifts trying to isolate your back and hamstrings, you don't want to burn up your total energy reserve trying to stabilize and hang on or unintentionally put more focus on supporting muscles. After training with these for several months, I've greatly increased my weight and training effectiveness and my natural grip strength has continued to improve (turns out grip has a lot to do with other muscles beside you hands). If you have a well rounded training split, you're going get plenty of work on general support and strength. One thing to note on this specific design over other straps or hooks, is that you can quickly and safely remove yourself from a bar or equipment when you need to. Some designs can actually carry some risk, such as with hooks, as you are not able to let go if need be. These are expensive, there's no getting around that, but when used properly the results more than justify the cost and they will last, plus they're made in the good ol' US of A. I know people using the same pair after many years. There is a bit of a break-in period and you may develop some calluses but they'll work in over time and during training you should be more focused on form. I don't know that I would ever strictly say VGs are "comfortable" but they are very functional without being distracting, and you do get used to them. To be fair though, I don't go to the gym to be comfortable... exercise is hard work and takes dedication. Maximize the work for the time you put in. Use Versa Gripps.

Best Lifting Straps on the Planet
I lift 6 days a week and my three main weak links are my wrists, tendonitis in my right elbow/forearm and right shoulder. I noticed that changing my workout to pull/pull/push/push/arms/legs (days) decreased my pain by allowing more recovery time in my forearms over spreading out pull days. I've never been a fan of straps because they take time to wrap, dig into my wrists and unless I'm super careful wrapping they alter the shape of the bar/grip. One of my gym buddies recommended two things: these straps and a forearm strap. I already had a forearm strap with a gel 'lump' that presses into the tendon bit never thought to use it while weight lifting. These straps looked bulky but he was a chiropractor and serious trainer so I gave it a shot. These straps are the greatest things since pre workout! Simple, unbelievably effective and very well made. These hold so well I now use a false grip for most pulling moves including dead lift and shrugs. These have a thumb relief so a natural grip is fine, but I find when doing barbell shrugs, lat pull downs, and other exercises that a false grip is more comfortable and with these the grip/hold is so strong I can confidently grip barbell and dumbells any way I feel like and there is zero.zerozero chance it'll slip. I train hard, like have to wipe the floor sometimes from sweat hard and I've never once felt like these could possibly slip. I've seen a definite increase in my traps, lats and back training since using these. For reference I used to shrug barbell till failure then immediately do strip sets of dumbell shrugs to failure and would start with 80lb dumbells since my grip was already tired from 40+ shrugs with 350-200 lbs on barbell. Now I start with 100 or 90s and plan on stepping up to 110s in the next two weeks. Absolutely no way I could do that without these straps. Regular straps are a PITA to use on dumbells; these, again, let me use a false grip on 100 lb dumbells! Scary the first time but now it's just natural. Over all these two small changes have increased my lifting, decreased my pain and the dinner I promised him to thank him will surely cost a lot more than these did. Get off the fence and buy these. Best damn straps on the planet. I've used all the standards, padded standards and even the built in hooks. The hooks are great but awkward and limit movement and form. Regular straps are too slow, too much work, dig into my wrist too much and rarely inspire confidence. These are perfect. Worth every nickle.

Worth every penny
I’ve been wearing straps for a years when doing heavy pull work and they have worked fine for the most part. Straps are cheap and reliable. For some reason I wanted to give Versa Gripps a try and see how they compare to the straps. My initial impression of the Versa Gripps was not good at all. I put them on and cinched them down tight! Well, the weight pulled and the straps chafed the crap out of my wrists - left almost a slight burn. I then tried to use them to do pull ups to see how they would feel. Same thing! Chafed my wrists. I decided that maybe I’m using them wrong so I referenced the how to video and sure enough I was. After I cinched them down only a little bit and allowed them to move freely did I experience the goodness. These things are fantastic. Very comfortable and very “sticky”. I sweat a metric ton when I lift and it doesn’t make a difference on the stickiness. One thing to note - make sure you fully disengage and let go of the part that wraps around the bar. With straps I can just open my hands and they unravel. Not these. You have to fully open your hand and make sure everything is out of the way because even a little bit of the wrapper will grip. I tried to let myself drop from the pull-up bar and couldn’t let go! I had to get my feet up on a box so I could completely disengage. Money well spent and the fact that they are made in the USA makes me feel a little bit better knowing the my money is staying here.

Best grips
Very good grips for beginners who only care about aesthetic build, grips aren’t advised for beginners but if you’re not going for strength. These are great to build some muscle
