Really nice umbrella! Used at the beach and it was perfect for shade. I did use it at home, putting it all the way in the ground and with a little wind it broke at the base. Kinda disappointed, but they did replace it for me which I was happy about. Overall, works great!

Ordered this beach umbrella a couple months ago, finally got a chance to use it and I love it! It comes nicely packaged in the carry bag and inside another long plastic bag which you could keep for storage during the winter. The carry bag has a strap to use over the shoulder, its a lightweight umbrella. Once opened you twist the bottom stick with threads down into the sand. It even has a handle which opens to allow better grip when twisting/screwing the stick into the sand. After that you place top part with umbrella up into the bottom stick and twist round knob until its tight. You can also open umbrella first then place it into the bottom stick. It has a tilt option for the umbrella once its secured. Be sure to tighten knob because if its a windy day the umbrella will fly out of bottom stick. It gave good shade for 2 people. If you have several people you may need additional umbrellas or a different type of cover. It held up nicely all day at the beach. We used it 2 days in a row, had no difficulty and a great day at the beach!

i used this umbrella for the first time at the beach today. the umbrella was easy to screw into the sand and assemble, and held up for four hours, even when it was windy. it is lightweight and easy to carry, which i also appreciate since i live about a 5-min walk to the ocean. the one negative is that the umbrella description says it provides sun protection and it absolutely does NOT. i sat under the umbrella from about noon-4pm and didn’t put on sunscreen because i thought i was covered (literally), and i got absolutely fried. if you’re prone to sunburn, don’t be a dummy like me and remember to put your SPF on before sitting under this umbrella!

It made it through 3 days in a row at the beach with lots of wind and will be going on my next trip! Light weight, easy to put up and Very sturdy!

Was great up until 20mph winds at the beach just broke the metal in half while umbrella was screwed down in the sand. Not strong metal at all. But very lightweight & portable. Only use for NOT windy days.

Not bad for the cost. Wasn’t very stable on the beach with 15mph and gusts up to 20mph winds. Was scared it was going to break or fly away the whole time. The plastic coupler that joined the 2 pole pieces only grips the top pole and slides right off the bottom pole with little effort. The height isn’t adjustable as the top pole doesn’t slide inside the bottom pole more than an inch at tops. The bottom auger stayed firmly into the sand. And the umbrella seems like good quality. Good for the money but not the best choice for a windy beach day.
