Bought one of these a couple of years ago and it was decent quality, very sturdy and fit together very well. Figured I'd buy a couple of them again to fill out the new car a little better and help keep the clutter in place, well they're not the same anymore, and are in fact a much cheaper build quality than before.The material is thinner and more flimsy and the red stitching pattern is not the same, and the faux leather padding isn't padding anymore and is instead some kind of very thin stretched plastic. It barely holds any weight and is actually less sturdy than a typical cardboard box - I'd put it on par with the thin flimsy Amazon cardbox boxes they used these days.I took the same stuff out of the original one I had and stress tested it - the old one could carry it in one hand no problem, but the new one? You'd need to hold it from the bottom with both hands otherwise it will fall apart at worst and feel like it's constantly going to fall apart at best. Terrible product. Granted, they're more for static storage instead of transporting goods around - but there's still a handle on the top meant for moving them around with goods in, so you'd think they'd be sturdy and of decent quality.Of course, the images don't reflect this at all, as per usual. They've obviously decided to reduce production costs by cutting corners and quality while still asking that you pay the same price.Avoid.
