I will always have some in my pet med cupboard. you only use a little at a time so it lasts for a while. great to see the relief it gives you dog.

Report at 12 days- IBD symptoms reduced by ~ 50% (Update at 36 days ~ reduced by 90+%.
This is a review of the 1oz bottle of powdered herbs, not the liquid version.I am not at all drawn to herbal or homeopathic remedies, and was very skeptical that this product would have any effect on my 2yo dog with severe IBD. But for $14 it seemed worth the try. Right now she is on Prozac 2x day and Tylan 4x day on a 100% metabolized protean diet but still has a traumatic defecation process consisting of 4 to 5 back to back 'tries' over a 5 minute or so time period, with the first try mushy and the last bloody. It is no fun for her or for me to watch.I slowly added this to her food over a 4 day period and she is now getting 1/4t 2x day. The number of tries is down to 1 or 2, no blood. So I am reporting good results, admittedly without a lot of data. We'll see. This product has made a huge improvement after 36 days, so I advise at least giving it a try.The delivered cost of this is about $20/oz, but in an article written by Greg Tilford, CEO of Animal’s Apawthecary, “stresses that interested dog owners can easily prepare the formula themselves, using fresh or dried organic herbs.” (Whole Dog Journal, Herbal Remedies for Inflammatory Bowel Disease)With shipping, enough herbs from Herbco to make 1.25 lbs of this mix cost $36 with shipping (make sure to order the powdered version). That is very easy to do and costs 1/10 as much per oz.

Same as others
I have used this company before and loved their products. First time ordering this one specifically and should have listened to others review. I ordered powder and received liquid.

Good product if they would ship the right one.
I like this product for my dog's bowel issues but I keep getting liquid instead of powder that only lasts a couple of weeks instead of the 4 months that the powder form lasts. So I will have to order it somewhere else.

5 stars for the product, 0 stars for sending the wrong item twice in a row
This stuff is essential for my maine coon with a sensitive tummy! My boyfriend ordered a bottle of the powder, we prefer the powder because it lasts was longer than the liquid one, and we were sent the liquid. We figured it was just a mistake and used it anyway cause we were out of the powder. I just ordered again yesterday and I was sent the liquid again. I have no choice but to keep and use it because were going away and have a cat sitter coming. Frustrating to pay for one thing and get sent something different.

Eased Colitis Symptoms in 2 Days & Saved Us A Costly Visit to Emergency Vet
My 16 year old Maltese was recently diagnosed with Colitis, and experienced a very bad flare up while we were out of town. Before taking him to an Emergency Vet, we decided to give this a try. Within two days, his stools were formed and he was back to his normal playful self. What a relief! This product will now be a must-pack item when we travel with our fur baby.Note: We had to make sure to mix this in well with his food. He would not eat when powder was visible.

Made my dogs IBD Diarrhea way worse
I really wanted to like this stuff, and it may work for YOUR pet. However, it made my dog worse. I have a pug with IBD and he was having a pretty bad flare. I had pretty good luck with just slipper elm (which is in this), but wanted something more powerful, so I tried this. It ended up giving my dog the worst diarrhea. I stopped giving it to him, and he got better after giving him some plain slipper elm. I decided to try again, thinking it was just a coincidence, however it happened again. He got terrible diarrhea when I tried to give this to him the second time. His diarrhea has never been that bad even with IBD. In my case, this stuff just made everything worse. I read other reviews and saw other people had the same problem. Im not sure what ingredient it is that is causing the trouble. Anyway, if this gives your dog trouble try plain slippery elm. Also, digestive enzymes has been helping my dog, as well as a homemade diet.

Look at ingredients
Got this for my pup who has tummy troubles and pancreatitis. When I got the product, I was assuming it would have deglycerated licorice in it. It does not. It just has licorice root. I will use this in a bind, but I got four leaf rover’s guy guard… which has same/better ingredients… including deglycerated licorice.
