Cave crickets gone?
I've not done any home pest management beyond a can of Raid before. I picked up a cheaper sprayer, this IGR and a another product that kills. I used only this in my basement where for 20+ years I could never eradicate the crickets. I sprayed Raid on the baseboards and other places around the house they would come up through the crawl space which killed the ones that touched it but didn't do anything for the continued breeding. I wanted to stop spraying in the living areas of the house. I followed the directions and used 2 fluid ounces in a gallon and sprayed all locations in the basement/interior crawl space where I've seen them or I could reach with the sprayer. I also put down the small CatchMaster glue traps in a few places. They are very attracted to them and the whole tray would fill with them until no spot was even left to catch others. When I repeated a spray treatment I sprayed around where these trap were and a little on top of the carcasses of the others thinking the attractant will expose any that got away. I haven't seen a cricket upstairs in at least 4 months and occasionally a new one gets caught on the trap. I used to see them at all times in the basement. 1 here or there on the ceiling or wall. At this point I'm not saying the war is won but between the glue traps and presumably this spray preventing them from breeding I may need to only put spraying into a maintenance schedule soon. I don't think the reduction is just because of the traps catching the ones in the visible areas but I can't be sure. I have used this outside with a bifenthrin product with mixed results. The mix seems to have disrupted the fungus gnat problem I had in my container plants but they still pop up now and again. This spray seems to cause a kind of bleaching to the leaves of some plants. I'm not clear on how long this product stays effective outside. It says it is photostable for 14 days which I guess is for surfaces but if it is sprayed into any soil or onto leaves I read somewhere that various microorganisms can break it down pretty quickly. Other poison based products may have longer staying power in soil which may or may not be a good thing for your particular case.

WOW!
This along with Nisus Nibor D Insecticide powder did the trick! Our eldest son and his wife and our 4 grandbabies had to move in with us temporally and they brought roaches into our home (I was LIVID bc I've NEVER had bugs let alone roaches UGH) well anyways, we thought it wasn't that bad and we put out Combat Gel Bait traps and never seen empty egg sacks or roach poop, but when we used this combination in a pump sprayer and did inside our house, the amount of DEAD roaches that appeared only a matter of 2-3 days, I was LIVID all over again! It's been a week since we sprayed and I'm here to say it works, NO live ones we've seen and we've vacuumed up HUNDREDS of dead ones, not including the glue trap we put under the fridge that in a matter of 3 days was FULL... If you have a German Roach problem, BUY THIS PRODUCT along with the 5lb bucket of Nisus Nibor D Insecticide powder and mix them and spray, you'll be surprised at how it works and ours aren't "under control" we 100% eliminated them all together! Also get the Alpine Rotation 1 and 2 gel (in a tube it's 4 to a box) and put that out. We also used the Nisus Nibor D Insecticide and put it out bc they walk through it, they carry it back to the nest and kills from the nest out. I applied it all spots where there are voids from the baseboard to the floor and under my dishwasher, fridge and stove. I also got the Doxem NXT spray, you can use it directly under the fridge on the motor and any other part under there.

Does the job, not quite as good as Gentrol
No visible residue, no lingering scent. Easy to mix up, 1oz per gallon of water, mixed with an insecticide like Alpine WSG. Doesn't seem to be as effective as Gentrol, but certainly helps reduce the population. Doesn't seem to last as long as Gentrol which is a problem given you're only meant to spray this stuff every 2 months. Overall I'd give it 4 stars, it works, and will help control insect populations.

This stuff cleared an infestation of German Coacrockes in two weeks!!!!
OMG! The person who made this product should be given a huge Prize and a Reward! This stuff works on many bugs, but it eliminated the nasty German cockroach that had infested the homes of elderly folks for over 30 years. It broke my heart to see them living like this….so I bought the large $50.00 per bottle thinking I would have to treat their home for months… because they have tried everything under the sun and nothing worked. When I read that it had the growth inhibitor regulator in it to stop the cycle, I bought it without hesitation. I used it for two weeks, and I kid you not, not all of the roaches were gone!! I couldn't believe it…. I still spray for them occasionally because it works on various pests. But they or I have never seen another German Cocroch again! What a GOD sent! Thank you so much!!

It works, REALLY, REALLY well. Especially when mixed with Alpine WSG.
This stuff works!!! I had roaches everywhere a week ago and now I barely see any. I'm sure the Alpine WSG did the initial knockdown, but I'm not seeing babies. The cycle looks to be broken thanks to this product. I bought a 16 oz. bottle thinking I would need to do multiple sprays, but that doesn't appear to be the case. I barely used half a quart spray bottle for my kitchen and bathroom. Still have 3/4 of a gallon mixed and ready. It is pricey. Still cheaper than the fogger and aerosol sprays I've been using, since it WORKS.

I haven't seen a live insect in my home in years!
I've been buying Tekko Pro IGR for a few years since we moved to SW Utah. It seems to do an excellent job at controlling the insect population around our home on almost a 1/3 acre lot. I haven't seen a live insect inside the home in a very long time except for maybe a fly if someone leaves the patio door open along with the screen door open. I grew up in swampy south Florida, so I'm very familiar with household pests and pest control methods. All you need is a professional insecticide combined with an insect growth regulator such as Tekko Pro IGR, some good PPE (personal protective equipment) and a cheap 1 gallon sprayer. Be sure to wear a long sleeve shirt, long pants, gloves, an N95 or KN95 mask, sunglasses and a hat when spraying pesticides. To eliminate the scorpions in our area, I spray Cy-Kick CS about once a month in the hot season. I have also used a few other general insecticides in my rotation such as Demon Max and LamdaStar UltraCap. No matter what insecticide you choose, the Tekko Pro IGR is a vital component to controlling the insect population around your home. To keep it simple, this product prevents juvenile insects from maturing into adults and also stops the insect from being able to molt which leaves them vulnerable to other natural dangers. They claim it can last for up to 7 months which seems to be true. But I still spray this once a month along with my insecticide during the summer months. The 16 ounce bottle lasts me about 2.5 to 3 years.
