Excellent, study ceiling mounted rack for Kayaks, SUPs, or even other items
I bought a couple of SUPs that are actually inflatables, but I didn't feel like un-inflating and re-inflating them with every use. My goal is to prolong their life by not constantly folding and unfolding them. So I keep a little air in them, just enough to hold their shape, and I store them in this excellent rack that I mounted to the large header beam running across my garage ceiling. I have very little space in my garage, and it has a low ceiling compared to other, modern garages. So I opted for the single-arm version of this rack. It is perfect! The rack is made of steel, I believe, and the tolerances are excellent. There is no wobble, yet it was really easy to mount and assemble. The arms are covered in a light foam padding that is suitable to not damage your boards. But because I'm dealing with inflatables that could sag, I feel like I need to add some additional support where the board meets the arm. Currently I just cut a couple of slabs of Coroplast and stick them in place, but I am considering buying a sheet of Masonite (or similar) to lay on the arms as a "floor" to spread the load. If you have normal, non-inflatable boards, you don't have to worry about any of this. Just install and hang your boards to instantly regain garage, or utility room, space!

Great Item
Bought this to store three SUPs in my garage. They're all inflatable SUPs so we could store them in their bags but this is much better. They're up and out of the way. Mind you, you have to have the required clearance above your garage for these to work effectively. We had more space then I expected so it worked amazingly. Got my boards up off the ground and out of the way. In my garage, if I can hang it from the ceiling and utilize the overhead space I'm happy - keeps things up off my floor and way from the bugs making homes in them. It's sturdy as well, hold all three SUPs and all the paddles without breaking a sweat. Great items - wish I had bought this years ago.

Fantastic way to store your boards
We have inflatable paddle boards. Four of them. We use them regularly throughout the year. We were getting tired of pumping them up and deflating them every trip. Four can take forever- sometimes longer than we are even on the water. A friend recommended that we deflate only about half and then store them. Good idea but we were lacking storage in the garage for that. A little research and we found these. We were somewhat concerned about the ceiling drop as our boards were measuring taller than the drop but we just ended up deflating to the right height and they fit stacked quite well. No complaints. Easy to install, great overall design, and worth the money spent.

Works great
I attached this to a hanging storage rack, it is well built and a great way to get my board out of the way. It is sturdy and I can get the board on and off easily.

Good solution to get gear off the ground.
**Edited increase to 4 stars from 3. Per the last point in my "cons" section below, customer service fixed this issue within an hour of my first email to them. I received the 4th arm a few days later and now the set up is complete. Really noteworthy customer service! Good stuff. ** I'm a fan of this product. It got half the job done that I need, so far. It's very close to bumping to 5 stars. Pros: - Very easy to install. - Large arms easily accommodate the rooftop box seen in the photos here. - Feels sturdy to the garage ceiling joists. I'm not worried about this thing coming down, provided I don't overload it. - Met my need perfectly -- at least half way. Read below. Cons: - You may be able to tell that the machining of the product is not perfect yet. The drop down posts are not square to the ceiling plate, so the posts hang down a bit off-plumb and a bit twisted. Thus, even squaring the ceiling mounts some distance apart, the arms end up being off and not entirely parallel. Still, it's minor and did the trick. - You may also be able to see that one of the arms has a distinct upward cant to it. This is another machining problem. For my purposes, it's not a big deal, but beware. - Finally, you'll see that I only have 3 arms mounted. The fourth arm came unfinished and didn't have a hole drilled into it for locking into the post's spring lock. I've emailed customer service to ask about an exchange of this arm and if they're responsive, will gladly upgrade this review to 4 stars.

Surf Board Celing Rack
Easy to install, met all my expectations. Holds four surf boards with no problems. The only thing that wold make this item better is to have the ability to raise and lower the rack.

I know, like me you’re probably looking at the price and thinking “that’s pricey, I could get something much cheaper or make something myself”. But honestly, this product is great - very well made and incredibly strong. Easy to fit too and adjustable, highly recommended for storing boards and anything else that’ll fit.

Great product. Well built. I’m always sceptical about made in China purchases but this rack is made from solid steel and has strong welds. Even comes with good lad bolts for install. Easy to adjust even with boards already on the rack. Highly recommend.

We looked at a few options for storing 2 kayaks in our garage but most were wall mounted, or relied on pulleys in the ceiling which seemed cumbersome. This solution is simple to use and has got the kayaks up out of the way. Was easy to install. Very pleased with the result.

Was looking for a storage solution for a large roof box. This is perfect. We have a Thule Motion XL and it fits perfectly. Install on the joists 32” apart and the bars sit exactly where the box would sit on the crossbars of your vehicle. Super solid. Quality item. Would absolutely recommend. Easy installation. Everything clicks together well.
