I’ve been using this shampoo for years and it’s awesome! I’m a sensitive snowflake and have to be careful to not use products that irritate my skin or dry it out with anything harsh. My itching and flakes are completely due to a dry and sensitive scalp, and this is the only “natural” shampoo that works for me. It doesn’t leave my hair greasy and smells great (it reminds me of an essential oil blend from an organic spa). The bottle lasts a while too. If you have thicker hair I’d recommend using one of those rubber scalp massager brush things to get it distributed evenly without having to use too much. I leave it on my scalp while I condition the ends of my hair to really let the shampoo sink in. I'll use a clarifying shampoo after every 4th or 5th wash when it’s hot and I’m sweating a lot, because sometimes this shampoo doesn’t grab all of the oil when it’s built up a bit more.

After itchy, sometimes scabby scalp issues for over a year, I decided to try something more natural, and this stuff did the trick. Huge improvement for the scalp and my hair looks good after using it. My only complaint would be doesn't lather great, but most natural products don't, and I figure maybe thats the price you pay for treating your skin and hair in a more gentle and natural way.

I have been using this brand of shampoo for many years. I noticed the improvement within the fist couple of weeks, when my hair stopped coming out so much. It finally almost stopped coming out completely now I have minimal loss, and I have about 1 -1 1/2 inches of newer growth. I really feel like it is helping. I will continue to purchase this brand.

Cleaned very well , don't need to use much (no suds but it works so I no complaints) Used with the conditioner it's just peachy keen! I have very fine this hair and these 2 products have lightened and made it behave better. Thanks a bunch.

So I ended up buying this shampoo because I had a lot of small white flecks in my hair. My scalp was super irritated, but I honestly thought it was just because I have chronic hives. I didn't realize how bad my scalp health was until I started using this shampoo. It moisturizes my hair, and it honestly evens everything out for me. My hair is thick but very fine, and it gets oily near the roots and a little dry near the ends. If you are sensitive to smell, it has a very strong tea tree oil and mint smell to it that can be a bit hard to get used to. But overall it doesn't irritate my scalp in the slightest. The conditioner also helps neutralize the smell a bit. The conditioner smells a bit clean and slightly sweet if that makes sense.

I've tried traditional mass-market dandruff shampoos such as Head and Shoulders with limited success as the dandruff is usually noticeable again within 24hrs or less. Of course I could wash my hair again but I find frequent washing dries my hair out very quickly (especially if it contains chemicals such as sulphates) so this isn't really an option. I spotted this product being recommended on an 'SLS free' cosmetics website and decided to give it a go. I have to say that it worked from the first application and I've noticed that I can easily go three or four days without seeing any flakes whatsoever, an added bonus is that my scalp doesn't itch like it used to either. Its not the cheapest shampoo on Amazon but it is a good sized bottle and the fact that it leaves my hair soft, manageable and flake free for days at a time more than justifies the cost. If run of the mill dandruff shampoos don't work for you, consider trying this product - well recommended.
