Why doesn’t this come with the housing?

What size screw goes from the top of the unit to the bracket?

Is this useful to use before a tankless water heater to remove build up in water heater for prolonged life of unit?

What order should my filters be if I add this in addition to a 3 stage heavy metals system?

This purple or Anti-Scale Polyphosphate Filter (FWDS150K), should come before all filters, but just after your water softner. After the Purple though are these: 1. Anti-Scale Polyphosphate Filter (FWDS150K) 2. Sediment Filter (FP25B) 3. CTO Carbon Filter (FC25B) - Reduces Chlorine, bad odor & taste -- also removes sediment, dirt, sand & dust 4. Iron & Manganese Filter (FM25B) - Reduces iron, manganese 5. Lead Reducing Filter (FCRC25B) - lead 6. GAC+KDF Filter (FG25B) - Reduces Chlorine, Lead, Hydrogen Sulfide & odors You'll have to decide after the sediment and CTO Carbon filter what you want to filter out. Testing your water would let you know. I went with #'s 1-4 in the exact order. Hope that helps a bit. If you call ispring, they are also very knowledgeable, but basically after the first 3, you can put them in any order from 4-6. #5 is only for removing lead only & #4 is the only one for just iron & manganese. Hope that helps. You'll have a slight psi drop, but very negligible. I also used Sharkbite for easy installation. Skarkbites are not included on any of these systems, unless you buy them that way. I also recommend to buy a block of wood to install these on. These systems are not horribly heavy, but heavy enough that you may want 2 people (you & another person) to hold it up while installing the bases. Hope that also helps. Just an FYI for everybody. The rumors of plumbers saying SharkBite does not work is non-sense. They have been around for 20 years and I have one that's installed for at least 13 years now & still going strong.
