I wasn’t sure what the quality of this cover would be because it was quite a bit cheaper than some I looked at. I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness of this cover. I had it installed in the backseat of my Jeep Wrangler in less than 5 minutes. We travel constantly with two large dogs, and our last seat cover had seen better days. We haven’t traveled with it yet, but are leaving in a couple days, so I’ll update my review once the pups have had a chance to try it out. Overall, very impressed on the look, fit and quality. Hopefully the washability and durability will be 5 stars as well!

As a DIYer who loves taking my dogs on adventures, the Vailge Dog Seat Cover for the back seat has been a game-changer. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to install. The adjustable straps fit snugly around the headrests, and the non-slip backing ensures it stays in place, even with my dogs moving around. I never knew how great this was until I bought one and then I wondered why I had never heard of them before. I was torn between 4* and 5* but I did have a very minor issue with it so a 4* it is. If I could do 4.75*, I would. I was leaving for a 650+ mile drive with my fur baby Vader in tow and I needed some protection for the cars back seat. Protection from his claws and the shedding hair, he sheds a lot! The night before I was leaving I found this item and it was exactly what I needed; it was available via Prime, overnight by 8AM so I jumped on it. Installing the hammock was super simple and it fit really well in the space for the back seat. A few clicks for the straps around the headrests and it’s installed. There are like rubber handles that you push down between the seat bottom and the back that hold it in place so it doesn’t move around. Vader loves it, he gets air through the mesh opening and his claws get a nice grip on the material so he’s not sliding around when he moves in the back seat. The thing survived his claws and there’s no evidence of any scratches, etc. so the material is obviously very durable. The material is also waterproof. I spilled his water on one of my stops and it puddled up in the corner without soaking in. I was able to grab some paper towels out of the trunk and soak it up. You couldn’t tell I had even spilled water back there, the material was dry. There is one minor issue I had with functionality. . While the bottom side of the hammock does have a non-slip material, it could (and needs to) provide better grip than what it does. When I stopped to walk him, I had to straighten the bottom out so it was spread out flat again. While it’s a very minor complaint, it’s a feature that doesn’t perform as well as it should in my opinion. Would I recommend this to friends and family? Absolutely. I showed everyone how great it fit, how much dog hair didn’t get into the seat of the car and told the dog owners they needed to get one. For the price, it’s a great buy. Would I purchase another one? You bet I would. By the way, the car I drove was a 2016 Toyota Camry

I have a compact car with a small back seat. This fits fine.....a little slack in places, but I just tucked it into the sides. I have 2 dogs, and it comes in SO handy instead of using towels and blankets. I wish I got this sooner. When I saw that this was on sale, I knew it was time to try it out (great value). It only comes with one seat belt, but we already had another one in the back seat. The seal belt slit is perfect sizing. I haven't used it with the 60-40 split or front seat yet, but the whole back seat cover is great! It fits in place and tucks in, so it doesn't slip. Follow the guide to measure your car and you will know if it will fit your car.

This seat cover works great for car rides with my dog. It’s 100% waterproof, anti-slip, and protects the back seat really well. I like the mesh window, which lets my dog see me while still keeping him secure. Durable and easy to install—highly recommend.

Great value for your $$$money Quality solid, strongly made Fits perfectly in my Dodge Durango back seat. NO Slipping at all. In the back side of the Matt they have handles that u slide in the middle crease of the seat and then you fastening straps around the headrest . Also my dogs Don’t fall in the crevasse/ empty space area in between back of front seats and back seats. The covering I strong enough so they don’t get a paw kinked up. I have 90 lb Flat coated Retriever who likes to dig/circle/liedown or my Boxer 75lb who likes to run back and forth to each window. The ventilated window is great it big enough to se both heads appear. So we go have gone thru covers. So far this is holding up well. Comes with 2 leashes for buckle and 2 +to hold the flaps on the side up to prevent slobbering on the door frame; great idea for next new car.. I don’t care about protecting the door for me cuz it’s been slobbered on too much. Though I did use the one of the flaps to make a wall for a guest that had to sit with my boxer in the back seat. It worked fabulously. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture. I love it!

Compré 2 de estos, uno para el carro de mi esposo y otro para el mío. Tenemos una labrador enorme. Mi esposo había estado usando uno de hamaca que se terminó por romper. El de hamaca quedaba más estirado en el carro, pero tenía los hoyos para meter los cinturones de seguridad eternamente abiertos y por ahí se iban un montón de pelos. Este trae velcro para mantenerlo cerrado si no se usa el cinturón de seguridad y eso hace que mantenga los asientos más limpios que el que teníamos antes. No queda perfectamente estirado, pero lo acomodo cada que se va a subir mi perro. Probablemente esto pueda ser un problema para algunas personas, pero como el pelo de mi perro no se pega a las telas (es chiquito, lacio y duro y más bien va saltando en vez de quedarse pegado) prefiero que no esté 100% estirado y que cada vez que se mueva, el pelo salte por todos lados. Sólo lo acomodo cada vez que se va a subir y ya no tengo problema. La verdad es que mantiene el asiento mucho más limpio que el otro que teníamos. No puedo valorar muy bien la parte de impermeable porque mi perro no se sube al carro mojada, pero al menos funciona lo suficiente para proteger cuando trae las patas húmedas después de la lluvia . En las fotos se puede ver que la tierra se mantiene en el protector y no en los asientos. No va a recoger los pelos 100%, pero creo que sí lo logra como a un 80% o 90%, en las fotos se ve la cantidad que se ha tirado en un mes más o menos. Leí varios reviews de otros que olían muy fuerte a químicos, incluso vi algunos que decían de este. Antes de usarlo lo dejé toda la mañana en el sol y sí olía algo, pero en uno o dos días se le fue el olor. Los protectores de los lados no cubren toda la puerta. Para mí no es problema porque alcanza a proteger hasta donde las patas de mi perro alcanzan, me imagino que puede ser más problemático con perros chiquitos. La verdad lo volvería a comprar sin dudarlo.

I recently ordered this Dog Hammock for our Tesla Model Y after purchasing many from local pet stores that were not fitting the car properly. So far, so good. It fits the CUV sized back seat well. I loosened the loops around the driver and passenger headrest to keep the loops on the back seat tight so the hammock doesn't ride down with the dogs movement. He likes to sit against the back seat. The antislip feature seems like it works well. The mesh on the front allows the backseat to receive air movement which is nice, and provides a view to the backseat well. I really like the zipper on the side flaps to keep the door protected. The package arrived missing two pieces - the straps to hold the side flaps up. I emailed the company and they provided a very quick response and confirmed they would send the missing pieces to the address we will arrive to in Ontario. Good customer service. Will update the review once these are received and how they function for the hammock. The hammock seems quite durable. The material is not too thin. It did smell quite bad when I first inserted it. I used some sage in the car and the smell isn't an issue anymore. We are driving from BC to Ontario, leaving tomorrow. We have a 90 lb Boxer/Bullmastiff. Will update the review atthe end of our journey regarding water resistance, durability etc.
