I waited couple months since I installed this on my truck bed fuel tank to see how they would perform. I set up a two-stage because the fuel I'm getting is suspect and I'm glad I did. The setup works great. Doesn't let any water by and it's easy to drain and replacement filters are fairly priced. I would definitely buy this again. I'm in the Marine construction field so they see a fair amount of adverse conditions.

Nice unit:- large see thro bowl, allows you to see sediment buildup or water contamination, and to drain it before the furnace shuts down from filter blockage. Excellent for my residential oil furnace to replace the archaic, cast iron, felt filter unit.

So far all good, no leaks and does what its supposed to.

Very good product. Easy to install and see the filter. Changing the filter element is easy as well.

Works great on my off road fuel tank ank

Good quality filter has been in use for a week. No issues, it has a drain that can be used to drain water that you can see due to the see through housing. Drain petcock was bent due to poor packaging, but was able to straighten it out using a pliers.

Put this on my transfer tank. Working just fine. No leaks on the NPT fittings or the filter housing.

I bought both the 496 and 495 filters to filter off road diesel for my new tractor. I hope to never "need" them, but if either of them ever capture something that could damage my tractor, they have immediately paid for themselves more than once. They were easy to install and are well worth the peace of mind for the small price paid. A few people told me I didn't need both, but the 496 water filter filters out water and particles down to 17 micron. The 495 filter captures down to 10 microns. By having both, I capture both water and the smallest particle sizes without having to trade one for the other, and, it should help the 495 filter last longer since larger particles should already be caught upstream.
