Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Assassin's Gauntlet with Hidden Blade

My son loves this , the box it came in was nice and packaging was great . They finally got this in stock after being out for 2 weeks . Some stores are selling this for 50-80$ but I waited when it came back in stock and paid 25$. I got it in two days and it was a lot bigger than expected which I don't mind . The blade is not real of course but just be careful bcz it has a sharp point and could hurt someone, just make sure your child is old enough to understand not to release the blade in someone's face. The material is very well made and I feel this will last a while considering how hard on stuff my kid is with toys. Great buy, the only thing that stinks is you can't find this thing in stores, research prices before buying, don't pay more than it's worth retail.

Got this for my cosplay outfit and it is AMAZING! The detail is unique and the arrival of my package was faster than anticipated! The two pieces fit like a sleeve together, and there's velcro straps to keep it in place (a little long, but adjustments are great if something were to happen). UDPATE: (10/11/16) Originally 5 stars. However, I recently took a trip to see my cousin for his birthday, and since he's a fan of Assassin's Creed, I decided to dress up in my cosplay outfit. I had all of my pieces inside of a bag, and as I grabbed out my gauntlet, the hidden blade piece was completely expanded outward (after I turned the knob to keep it from extracting before placing it in the bag) and was bent 90 DEGREES. I tried to bend it back in the opposite direction, and although I gently did so, I noticed the really BIG problem. The spring underneath was wound together and since the area is WAY too small to fit my fingers in, there's NO FIXING IT. I will be contacting the seller after this update to see if I could only buy the retractable blade, but if not, I may have to find one on Etsy that is made of metal besides the flimsy plastic blade. I understand that placing it in a bag was my fault, but I expected it to not extract since I turned the knob. It's my fault that this happened, but I really wish Ubisoft would have used a more durable material for the blade so it didn't bend. I guess we all learn from our mistakes. **FINAL UPDATE! I was shipped a new blade FREE OF CHARGE! The one that was sent came without the pop-on arrow piece, but I managed to just pop the one off of my old one and transfer it onto the new one!! I'll definitely be careful with this one!! Thank you guys for saving my costume!! :)

Bought for sons Halloween costume. Would never pay $60 for this as some utube videos suggest was it's original price but for $20 this was an awesome replica. Well made and looks great. Spring action has held up to a week's worth of popping you my 10 year old and hasn't broke yet. Figured that would be the first thing to go. 2 days till Halloween and I think it's going to make it. Happy dad.

Got the gauntlet earlier than expected, which is good. But the package was very damaged and the gauntlet itself had the arrow piece broke off. Also, the blade did not come out at all. Am gonna use this for Renaissance fair and very disappointed in this! If it is a replica, it should be in mint condition and work

This is my first hidden blade purchase, so I'm not sure about how it compares with the previous versions. The gauntlet is sturdy, the details are nice, and I have no complaints about the huge size (as it is supposedly based on life-size?); it is meant to cover coats / thick Victorian costumes instead of just your bare arms. I would replace the black velcro sticking out from the side (sort of ugly and out of place) with genuine leather straps from craft stores. I would also redo the paint work partially for the hidden blade (especially) and the dart gun. Everything else looks fine. It makes a loud clacking noise when you release the hidden blade; might be irksome if kids play with it in the middle of the night or startling if you've pressed it in a quiet room. The safety lock helps. Can't comment on the spring yet as mine is still intact after 30 releases. Overall, I'd give it a 3.5, and is currently contemplating about getting the matching cane sword when the price eventually drops. Didn't surpass expectations but definitely not disappointed.

If you are getting this for a kid or getting for any kind of play I would recommend the movie blade. It is great looking but parts will come off and the blade only lasts a couple days before the spring busts. The mechanism is cheep but the gauntlet is beautiful. I took if all of the access pieces and i got rid of the blade because it broke the first day i got it. I just use the gauntlet now and i put a different blade on it. The brass knuckles are awesome and they will never break on you. This gauntlet is also a bit uncomfortable. But other than all the flaws it is a really cool accessory.

I bought this for my 13 year old for his Halloween costume. We always make our costumes, but he really gauntlet to finish it off it. It was perfeCT accessory for his assasin's costume and I had one happy guy. It was well made and held up well to a 13 year old playing with his friends all evening at a Halloween campout. He was the envy of his friends and I am a cool mom (for the time being!) I highly recommend this gauntlet.

I am looking to cosplay as Jacob Frye, and this will be a big hit with my friends, I'm sure. This is the first Assassin's Creed hidden blade replica I have ever purchased, and I am very pleased. It is quite comfortable, and very cool! The only drawback is adjusting the top strap every other time I want to draw the hidden blade. It gets stuck very easy, but I'm sure there's a way to fix that, I just haven't found it yet.

Very poor quality. Gauntlet is deformed and terribly painted, sometime not painted at all. On top of that the blade mechanism doesnt work at all out the box. And on top of that the gauntlet has little to no adjustment so it fits very loose in the wrist. Very bad item, going to try to get a refund

Purchased for my 11 yo son for Christmas. Very good quality and very well detailed. Definitely his favourite gift he ever received. Still has not broken it!

Si eres fan es una muy buena replica, excelente detalle y buena calidad, pero absolutamente todo el articulo es plástico, quizá algunos detalles en otro tipo de material podrían haberlo hecho lucir más.
