Clear DysphagiAide Instant Beverage and Food Thickener Packets, 24 Count, Level 2-Nectar Thick

I purchased Clear Dysphagi Aide Instant Beverage and Food Thickener for my mother. She has used it for a couple of weeks now and is happy with it. She has used it in a variety of liquids including milk (no curdling), juices, coffee, and water. There was no smell, change to the taste or color of the liquids, and it dissolves easily. She said she was able to thicken milk to the consistency of a milk shake using Clear Dysphagi Aide Instant Beverage and Food Thickener. I purchased the 24-count box in case she wouldn't try the product. The 200-count box is overall more cost effective by 0.39 cents per packet, but only if the product is being used. Since my mother likes the product and is willing to use it, I will purchase Clear Dysphagi Aide Instant Beverage and Food Thickener 200-count boxes.

This works well for a liquid diet that needs a slight thickener. Love that they are individual pouches, this makes portions easy when traveling.

Very easy to use these individual packets that are pre measured. Worked well with water and juice but did not always work with other drinks such as a prepared energy drink. Tried to use it with a protein drink and it ended up clumping. However, we continue to buy and use this product for my father who has trouble swallowing normal liquids without thickener. We are trying it in bulk as it is more economical. Hope it works as well. We did find that pre thickened water and juice, that I purchased at a local grocery were almost the same price as these packets. Buying in the jar is more economical.

I liked the individual packets to always have around in my purse. No added taste a thickens your beverage/liquid just as well as the expensive brands.

I don't like the powder. Gel thickener works much better and is safer.

After my surgery I was having problems drinking anything and looking online we found thick it and once I bought it I drank 3 cups of water easy and felt happy that I could drink water with out wanting to throw up or gag. This product is amazing I recommend it 100%. Plus if you mix well the water is clear doesn't have a taste it's just water. I also tried with juice and doesn't have a taste.

I don't know why I ordered this because I always use Simply Thick. This was a big mistake and I'll never make it again.

The thickener is palatable and easy to swallow without any choking.

Wish I’d researched before I purchased. Although thickened liquid, Maltodextrin isn’t good for diabetics! Wondered why my mums sugar levels became high! Plus, not good if you’re losing weight

However, you need to stir aggressively for all the lumps to dissolve. Also the packets are only for 4oz which is way too little. We have to use multiple every time.
