Very good quality. Quick and easy to change weights (large plates only). Quiet when in use. Works great with the PowerBlock Large Compact Stand (much more stable than it appears). The only cons are that adding the 2.5 lb weights is a bit cumbersome. And when both 2.5 lb weights are added to the dumbbell, you can feel that the dumbbell isn't balanced. Everything considered, I would definitely buy them again.

Easy to use space saving and portable option. Right amount of weight versus the 25lb, I ended up lifting more than I thought I would over a shorter bit of time. Square shape is a little awkward at first but I got used to it after a couple of months. Thank your delivery person, it arrives in two boxes each box is 50lbs each. If you can't lift a 50lb box ensure you have help or a rolling dolly type device to get the box inside. Replacement parts available on product brand website. Excellent quality and great option, would buy other items from this company.

these weights are good but i would have chosen a different model if i could go back in time. these are unable to expand past 50 pounds and after 2 plus years of seriously working out my muscles have outgrown them. i can easily press more than 50 pounds for chest, traps and shoulders unless it's lateral raises. so now they're mostly for bicep work etc. wish i would have got the pro exp series instead especially if you become serious about working out. they will be fine at first but for me after 2 years i have outgrown them. they really should have made an option to expand the pro 50

I used this weight set all deployment when space was at a premium. I highly recommend these not only for their quality, but also ease of use.

As someone who is a beginner in weights, I chose to purchase the Pro 50 as it has a minor advantage over the Pro 50 EXP or the Sport/USA models. The Pro 50 goes from 5LB to 50LB in 2.5LB increments allowing for a very steady increase in weights. This is because each additional plate adds 5LB. On the other hand, the EXP model needs to save space in order to accommodate the extra 40LBs of expansion plates. This means that each plate is a 10LB increase. Because of the adder weights and the weight of the handle itself, this is not a large issue but it means you be unable to exercise with 12.5/22.5/32.5/42.5 weights and instead jump directly to 15/25/35/45. Additionally, the Pro models have plates that are coated. This results in less noise when the product is in use and also helps to protect surfaces where you may place the dumbbells on. Even with the coating, there is still an audible noise when you use the dumbbells. The adder weights do rattle a fair amount and the weights do make a slight bumping sound against the handle. Despite that, it's still quiet enough for me to use in the dead-end of night without waking up the other inhabitants of the house. One extremely minor downside to the PowerBlock over other dumbbells from competitors like Bowflex is the increased space required to operate. With Bowflex or other dumbbell adjustment systems, you can twist/spin a part of the product to change the weights. PowerBlock requires a specific amount of clearing on the sides of both dumbbells so you can use the selector pin. While this is more compact than having an entire set of actual dumbbells, this means that you can't have it flush against the wall on one side.

Powerblock dumbbells are an amazing concept, they are well built and very nice to have. This set is advertised as expandable, it is not. If you’re looking to only go to 50#, great set, otherwise, if you’re like me, you’re stuck with an expensive set of weights that cannot help you

Others have commented on the comfort and usability of this set, with which I concur. Note that, as of June 2024, the list of possible weight combinations for these dumbbells is incorrect, both on Amazon and the manufacturer's website. 19 different weights per dumbbell are possible: every weight combination between 2.5 and 50 lbs in 2.5 lb increments. It is this capability that caused me to choose this set over several others, since for certain exercises, this degree of fine-grained control is valuable to me. The PowerBlock dumbbells that have 10 lb plates are not quite so configurable; settings like 22.5 or 32.5 lbs are not possible with those. They are possible with this set. Note, however, that this set cannot be expanded beyond 50 lbs. That's not an issue for me -- I'd rather have the more flexibility configurability.

Un'idea tecnica geniale, faccio allenamento tutti i giorni senza piu impazzire a togliere e rimettere pesini dai manubri che avevo prima. Professionale e funzionale. L'unica cosa che non riesco a fare è il pulley su panca piana, perche è difficile impugnarlo, ma per tutto il resto è ok !
