I'm 6'2" 190lbs and this vest is awesome. Super thick/high quality fabric, bold stitching and strong velcro/elastic straps. Sits just right on my long torso and the shoulder pads hold up without digging into or marking up my collar bone after a long 5 mile hike. Logo patches included are removable and the one that is stitched on can be unstitched. This thing is super beefy and military grade. I slapped a patch with my last name on it and people pull over as I pass by them on the trails.

I shopped and shopped for a weighted vest for quite some time. Through my research, if you want a weighted vest that’s going to last, you’re going to need to spend a little bit more money. This vest is very well made. Very snug fit spandex fit which alleviates some weight from your shoulders. The weights are as high of quality as could be imagined. The weights fit very snug in the vest and there’s plenty of Velcro to keep everything in place. This vest comes with shoulder pads and they are good but not great. Taking the vest on and off requires a little learning curve, but I think I got it figured out afree my first workout. Overall, I am super stoked on my purchase, I believe this vest will hold up to whatever I throw at it. I have the 30 lb version and mostly just walk with it thus far. Turns walking into more of a workout. Doesn’t necessarily burn more calories, but I feel stronger, more stable and balanced.

I have High cholesterol I was 189 now 145b and working hard from working out to eating healthy lowered my cholesterol with fitness eating healthy and the shot I take a waighted vest pushes me as I walk helps my muscles. I been gaining muscle and getting lean. It may hurt at first and hard with eating healthy and working out but keep pushing like I did and you will see results and be happy with yr new look. Start off slow by waking with the North GYM Waighted vest on. Keep on pushing to look and feel better never let any one stop you.

I am very surprised no one mentioned this before, but a word of CAUTION: the plastic wrap this is packaged in, is NOT sealed, nor is it air tight. It SHOULD be. I nearly destroyed my feet, and almost cracked three tiles as where I opened the package, was the same spot as the opening was for the plastic enclosure, and the metal plates are loosely packed inside the vest. I had no time to react as at the slightest tilt to remove the full thing from the box sent them flying out 3ft onto the floor. The blue paint to prevent rust was cracked and is now embedded in my tile, and it landed luckily about a 1/10th of a centimeter from my left and right feet. Yeah, that would have been fun. Open this only on a large table you don't care so much for indents and scratches, like a workbench. Somehow my tile managed to make it through (porcelain with a hard concrete base, so it absorbed the blow...not sure what the concrete looks like beneath, but porcelain can absorb a fair amount of shock). That said, the construction is great. I've been wearing it all day, and granted this is only day 1, but I can already tell the quality and durability going forward. I checked all the seems, all the threads, the quality of the thread. It's a really well built vest. I have the 20lb btw, so I'm kind of glad I didn't pick up the 30lb this time. I'm unsure if I can swap out for two 15lb plates, and I need to paint the metal where the blue paint was removed with water/corrosion/sweat resistant paint. My only gripe about the size of the vest is my chest is so big the side bands barely fit. I should take photos, but I'm like at 1/2 inch of velcro on both ends, and I have the shoulder strap literally at the edge. There are definitely wider guys than I am, so I'm wondering the lack of range in sizes available here, as this just barely fits my 51" chest. Just note I have barely any pecs atm, so once that changes, this will be too small. I do like the feel, and it does seem like I can do some workouts with it, though it's a bit restrictive for certain ones, including running. I'll have to figure something out. I might just get a chainmail vest for more options.

The curved design for the plates feels perfect. I’ve used flat plated setups and this is simply better. Solid fit, straps stay secure even after heavy use over time. I can’t imagine being happier with this purchase. I’m in better shape and it feels good.

Can’t recommend this enough. Don’t several murphs with this on and it was by far the most comfortable weight vest I’ve used.

We bought two so both my wife and I can have one. Its amazing and fits great. Snug and doesn't move. I love the side loading option for the weights.

Totally adjustable, starting with 15lbs which is just right for me. I can wear inside and outside the house doing chores which is challenging - makes it fun instead of a drag. The vest is strong, durable. Great choice to add to my weekly workouts at the gym
