Comfortable But Eyelets Stretching
I walk A LOT (over 1500 miles a year - my beagles love me) and these are quite comfortable. The soles also seem to be holding up well to the chip seal roads around my house. But the eyelets are stretching which makes me worried they could tear at some point. I have to be very careful not to make them too tight which makes my foot sometimes move around in them a bit (it's a balance). I wish the topmost eyelet had a metal grommet.

Fit the first time, every time.
First, I can't stand going shoe shopping as many brands just don't fit my feet well. These fit me the first time every time, model year/# after model year/#. This time I bought three pairs, each a different model year/ number. Perfect for desert dirt and rock running.

Extremely comfortable for walking
I've worn Sauconys for years because they are known to be soft and I like to baby my feet. I've tried most other brands as well but I keep coming back to Saucony. I recently bought these, and they are the third set of Excursion trails I've bought. The others were TR11 and TR12, so I was a little concerned about ordering online. But I was not disappointed. If anything these are more comfortable than the previous versions.Personally I would not wear these for running. Despite the fact that they are marketed for running trails, I find them best suited for walking. I walk to work and often have foot pain in other shoes, and these are the shoes I keep coming back to. After a full day of walking around in them, I find that I don't have the aches and pains I have in other shoes. The only caveat is that if a shoe is softer, it's probably not going to last as long. It's a tradeoff I'm willing to make. These are fairly inexpensive for a quality shoe, so I don't feel too bad when they wear out. That being said, the soles of these shoes last longer for me than similar shoes. I'm prone to wearing out the outer heel of my shoes, and then when my shoe starts to slant to the side, I throw them out. These being trail shoes with a bit of a wider tread, that doesn't seem to happen as much as other shoes, so I'm able to wear them a little longer.

Great shoe, very light
The shoe looks as it shows on the website. It is very light, for all the cushioning. The tread is great for trail running and running on the road. It laces up very easily. These are great shoes. I am not a marathon runner or anything like that, but I hike/run trails a lot and I run on the road for short distances for the sake of exercise. The one problem I have had with this and a pair of Excursion TRs that I purchased about a year ago is that the insole in my right shoe slides to the side and in this new pair it slides back to the heal. It may be a problem with my anatomy. I have been struggling lately with the results of sitting too much, for work. I am starting physical therapy and it may be that stretching and strengthening will help me correct this problem. I tendency to supinate when I walk, that increases when I don't stretch or become inactive. I am going to keep an eye on this. I may try another type of shoe to see if this problem persists. Aside from this, I really like Saucony shoes. This is my 3rd pair.

Nice looking little cushion hard sole
Purchased a pair of these because I used to buy Saucony running shoes which were very comfortable. Found a color I like and satisfied with how they look. Lighter weight shoes, appear to be made pretty good. They are a bit snug width wise, but plenty of length. Walking with them on concrete is very uncomfortable. Not enough cushion and soles are a harder rubber with a fairly aggressive tread design. I did also walk on some grass, much better feeling. I put some insoles in for extra support and comfort. It does help, but will find a different pair for walking the dog. Airflow is good, so these will be nice on hot summer days.
