Sleep Mask, One Size, Navy, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

I have tried at least a dozen amazon eye masks and this is THE BESTTTTT. It does not move, amazing blackout, SO comfortable, and it has just enough weight to feel a lil pressure but not too much where it gives you a migraine (i have migraines so this is important).

I love these. I have used one for years and keep one in my headboard, one in my “bug out bag” (or as I call it, my emergency travel bag lol), one in my car and one in a drawer. It seemed bulky years ago but at that time I was working nights and needed sleep. This lets in NO light. I got used to it after a few nights and now I can’t sleep without it. If you are a stomach sleeper, idk, might be uncomfortable but I sleep on my back or sides so it works for me. I consider these masks essential items for my everyday life. If one frays or is losing its shape after several years of washing and drying cycles, I replace it immediately. The original was an impromptu gift from my mother who has recently passed and every night I put it on I think of her. I hated it when I opened it but now…..I can’t live without it.

I bought the Tempur-Pedic sleep mask years ago, and my only complaint is that I have difficulty sleeping without it! I bought it because my neighbor leaves his house at 4 AM and the floodlights shine directly into my bedroom windows. Instead of those cheap masks, this one contains Tempur-Pedic foam, and thus feel substantial. The outer covering is like velvet, although this gets a bit less soft if you wash it. Oddly, they say to not wash it, which might be to prevent mold in the foam. However, no matter how well I get my makeup off, I still have remnants of mascara when I wake up. That, and microorganisms on our skin, makes me want to clean it because it just gives me the icks not to. If you go this route, just hand wash and understand that it will take a long time to dry (more than two days if you air dry--I once put it in my dryer on the air dry cycle and that cut down on the drying time). The other thing about cheap masks is that they let light get through the edges. In contrast, this mask has special pads that sit under your eyes, and the mask is adjustable with a velcro tab at the back of your head. The velcro hasn't affected my hair; I have gotten some hair caught in it but it's been rare. I have taken this mask camping with me so I can get some sleep past dawn, and when I went back to an area in Alaska in the summer when the sun dips down briefly and then rises up again very quickly after. When I lived there, we'd put blankets over the windows so we could get some sleep--I didn't need to do that on this trip thanks to this mask! I recently bought one for my mom who was in the hospital and she loved it. Highly recommend!

I wear a sleeping mask every night. Over the years, I've tried 4 or 5 different masks off of amazon, along with plenty of random masks from airport stores etc., and this is my favorite. Here are some of the reasons why: It blacks out light completely. No tiny streaks of light peeking in on the sides. It's comfortable. The material is very soft, so if you sleep on your stomach (like I do), you can plant your face into it and it just feels like a pillow. There is a dimple in the middle so that the foam doesn't push up on your eyeballs. It doesn't move around. I roll around a lot and it's generally right in place when I wake up. The strap is adjustable, you can make it as tight or loose as you want to fit your face. It lasts. You can wash it in the washing machine if it gets gross. It comes out of the dryer fluffy and clean. I bought my current one two years ago, have worn it basically every night, and there are no signs of wear. The elastic is still strong, no seams or threads fraying. In other reviews, I've seen some people complain generally about sleep masks pushing on the bridge of their nose and causing discomfort (I read a TON of these reviews while looking for the right mask). In my experience, most masks do that, and this one does push a little on your nose, but because the outer fabric and inner foam are so soft, I think it's less bothersome with this mask than some others.

A melhor máscara para dormir que já comprei. Macia, com um espaço que não amassa o globo ocular e bloqueia quase que 100% a claridade. Super recomendo.

Llevo años usando este producto. Por la naturaleza de la máscara , no puedes lavarla porque provocarías daños irreversibles al material. Entonces es muy recomendable dormir con el rostro lavado. Tanto para hombres y mujeres. Por lo regular reemplazo la máscara cada dos años. Siempre pendiente de alguna oferta o promoción. No es la opción barata , estoy de acuerdo. Pero si logras obtenerlo en precio promoción 450 a 500 … los vale … arriba de ese precio, se paciente. La idea es que bloquean la luz aun teniendo los ojos abiertos. Y estos no molestan tus ojos y pestañas a pesar de tenerlos cerrados ó abiertos.

Outstanding sleeping aid. Just make sure that you don't tighten the strap too much so that you can sleep comfortably. :-)

I have tried several different sleeping masks. The common issues I faced in some shape or form were fixed with this sleeping masks, finally. This sleeping mask... ...is comfortable enough to fall asleep with it ...does not slip away during sleep ...properly blocks out sunlight ...and most importantly, does not press against your eyes, which can be very irritating. As a bonus, it was actually a little nicer to my sensitive skin than others. The cons are the price and the rather, to be blunt, ugly design. It's not pretty, and it costs a bit more than I would have liked, but I'm glad I finally found a mask I'm actually completely happy with. Also, I machine wash it, and it works great. I still don't know why the instructions say you're not supposed to do that. It works for me.
