I ordered a dash cam and wanted it hard wired. Needed a 5V power and this worked. Arrived with broken ears, but I was able to zip tie them into place.

This actually appears to be a five star product. It's listed for automotive use and I thought it would work for 12v LED landscape lights (lights are too bright and using an old 6v battery charger gives a pleasant light output). I hooked it up to a 12v landscape transformer and it does transform to 6v, but all LEDs won't light. Odd thing is it works on some lights, but not on others. It appears to be well made and if used for its intended purpose it may well be five star. It just didn't work for me.
