Edible Health Premium Collagen Powder 400g – Types 1 & 3 Protein Peptides, 18 Amino Acids, Hydrolysed Bovine Collagen, Paleo Keto Kosher Halal

I received this today and have just consumed two rounded tablespoons in a normal size cup of tea. I can assure everyone reading this that the product is entirely tasteless and has almost no smell. It absolutely, unequivocally does not smell or taste “beefy” as another reviewer falsely claims. The tub, which is sealed for freshness, contains powder almost up to very rim of the tub which is such a rarity these days! I was quite pleasantly surprised when I pulled back the foil. I really should get out more... The powder is very fine and despite me carelessly dumping two heaped tablespoons full into my tea and then taking my sweet time to actually stir it in, the product had fully dissolved within seconds. Absolutely no lumps or clumps or residue in the bottom of my mug. Zero aftertaste. There appear to be a few fake reviews on here (all negative) so I would encourage you to ignore these and focus on the many positive reviews. As far as I can see the company customer service is top notch and they are quick and friendly with their responses to questions or negative reviews. Yes it is entirely possible they did receive a substandard or damaged product from the amazon warehouse but who doesn’t every now and then? I question their validity as they describe a product so drastically different from the one I received, “beefy” and “clumpy” this powder is not. So far I am extremely pleased with the product which I have ordered to support my Keto diet and help to ease symptoms of fibromyalgia (muscle & joint pain, fatigue etc). I look forward to seeing how it affects me over the next few weeks and will update my review and let you know.

"Only been taking the product for 1 week but can see benefits already in my skin and feel like I have more energy. Powder dissolved easily I take it with cold water. Has a very slight taste but not unpleasant. This is the first Collagen product I have used and obviously need to keep taking it over a longer period of time to see full benefits but happy with my purchase so far!👍 Since writing the above initially I have just ordered my second batch. Skin is definitely less dry and I can see improvements in facial fine lines, I have curly coarse hair and it feels much softer and less frizzy, nails feel much stronger too. This product seems to be working well for me and I would definitely recommend. Service has been great and prices are good too! 😀

**Edit** After reading my negative review, Edible Health's customer service promptly got in touch with me and assured me that they were having issues with a supplier. This led to a bad batch of peptides, which I of course received through Amazon. Edible Health just sent me a tub of their original formula, and I can now say that it is an amazing product! I actually prefer it to my normal brand, Vital Proteins. Edible Health's product uses less plastic packaging, is easier to open, and surprisingly, has no smell. It mixes easily into water, and is tasteless in my normal cup of black coffee. I am so pleased with their customer service working so hard to make things right for me as a customer, and I will definitely continue to order this product! Ignore the negative reviews saying this product smells or tastes awful, as the issue with the faulty supplier should be fixed now! This earlier review was written when I was received a bad batch from Amazon: I've been taking collagen peptides for almost a year now, usually purchasing my favourite American brand, Vital Proteins, and paying the high shipping & duties to get it here. In an effort to save money, I decided to purchase this brand, but it's absolutely terrible! I immediately noticed a very off plastic smell when I first opened the top. I figured it was just the smell of the container, so I added some to my coffee, and the taste was awful. Tastes like drinking plastic. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch, as this seems to get good reviews, but it is is awful compared to the odourless and tasteless Vital Proteins I'm used to. Lesson learned... not worth cutting corners when it comes to things you put in your body!

Bit too early to say if it works, saying that my knees are not as bad as they were. i have a couple of slight grumbles first when it arrived the lid was very dirty but it had the seal was on OK so didn't send it back just wiped it down. And the second grumble it does not tell you how many times a day to take it i have it twice a day in a cup of coffee it dissolves completely and there is not taste. as i said just 2 things that may need putting right otherwise got here on time, but as i said i will be able to tell you if it works a bit later on. well on second tub and knees are feeling ok i will keep using it i can get up from kneeling without pain a good product

I’ve been taking collagen for around 3 years now. At the beginning only the Great Lakes brand was available and while hard to reliably get, initially it wasn’t effected by the insane price hikes that proved the ultimate deterrent. As stated by other reviewers I began the trial and error search for an affordable and good replacement. Luckily for me the Edible Health collagen was one I discovered early on. I immediately liked it and have subsequently switched loyalties. (I hope this lends confidence to those who are weary with the huge price variations. This collagen remains at the same, stable price.) The benefits of this collagen are wide-ranging and deep. I’m in my mid 40’s and have experienced the usual wear and tear but am delighted to report this collagen really does turn back the clock. I initially began taking collagen because I suffer with trigeminal neuralgia coupled with tmj, a thoroughly miserable combination, and I hoped the collagen would serve to reduce the joint pain while shoring up any damage. This it has done. Generally speaking all of my joints are on good form these days, including my hands which were showing early signs of knuckle soreness. This has completely gone. When I first started taking collagen I didn’t think for a moment there may be other benefits beyond the health boons, and yet there are marked cosmetic improvements that are truly wonderful. My skin is the best it has ever been. I have hardly any wrinkles and I am complimented on my radiance (which is nectar to the ears of a middle-aged woman). My nails are strong and supple, and grow at an amazing rate. Perhaps the greatest transformation has been to my hair, which always tended towards dry, thin and dull. These days it is soft, luscious and much thicker. The colour remains strong and I have few white hairs (in part this may be due to having auburn hair as the hair of red-heads ages differently to other shades). In terms of usage, I love to cook and routinely add this collagen to my various sauces and gravies. It blends beautifully, is tasteless and completely odourless. A little while ago I slipped with a chefs knife and incurred a deepish cut to my finger. I was astonished at how quickly my body repaired the wound, so for anyone considering taking this stuff for wound-healing or post-surgery, I offer my encouragement. Aside from cooking, I take it in my tea and find it delicious. My body laps it up and misses in on days when I don’t take it. I’d like to add something about the seller in this review because in the fifteen years I have been an Amazon customer, I have never received such first class customer service. Corinna is one of those rare, warm souls you come across in life who fully restore your faith in humanity. She is a joy to deal with, always responding quickly and fully to emails. No question or concern is too small or too silly. She actually cares about her customers and goes the extra mile to ensure you are happy. Good quality and helps health and skin.

For the first three weeks of use, my sugar cravings disappeared - it was amazing. I wasn't expecting this benefit. I was able to waltz by the candy aisle without any desires. Unfortunately, all that stopped at the end of the third week. Little by little the cravings came back...now I'm back to being a chocoholic. I found the taste to be very mild, and the powder dissolved quickly in hot water. 27th November 2018 - Wonderful service, this company is all about customer satisfaction. 27th November 2018 - I did notice a reduction in 'Brain Fog. Unfortunately, my skin became dryer and I noticed some wrinkles appear around my eyes! Also, my skin became itchy. I found I was using more body lotion than usual. There was no noticeable difference to my hair:( I didn't notice any difference in my nails. I have one fingernail that grows to a certain length and then splits down. It split, while I was taking this product, and I filed it down; now I'm waiting to see if it will split again. If it doesn't then that will be a benefit. During use of the product I became achy, like I was coming down with flu. I was only using one level tablespoon, twice a day, instead of one heaped tablespoon twice a day. Maybe I needed more...maybe I needed less... 27th November 2018 - Of course, it's possible I was coming down with flu, and the product assisted in helping me fight it off... I'm going to continue researching bone broth* as I'm sure it must be a positive. I'm wondering if my bad gut bacteria were killed off too quickly and I didn't have enough good gut bacteria to cope. Open to suggestions:) *I found this information from Corrina, co-owner, very helpful:- "There is a lot of confusion out there (especially online) and often search engines do not differentiate between collagen and bone broth. Just for reference, whilst collagen may not contain some of the minerals found in bone broth, the benefits that people are trying to get from boiling the bones (namely to break down the amino acids) are far greater in collagen because all the work has been done for the body and the amino acids are in their most bio-available form. It’s basically a fast track to the protein benefits of bone broth without all the boiling!"

Great affordable collagen I notice my skin looks healthier and my eyelashes look noticeably longer when I'm regularly drinking this. I put it in coffee or hot chocolate and you can barely taste it, there is a slight smell, but not overpowering. It's a good source of protein to add to your morning coffee.
