Delicious and refreshing
I'm a huge fan of Brewferm recipes for several reasons. I got sick of not being able to find variety in my local stores and Brewferm is so simple yet the final product is top-notch in the three I have tried so far. The Wicked Wheat got better with age in my keg and I was craving a pint after a long day, so much so in fact, it was gone one day. I will add that their customer service is exceptional.

You'll need sugar.
It's a malt with concentrated flavors. You'll need to add your own sugar (or malt if you're fancy). It doesn't come with any soft of additions like dry hops, nothing to steep, etc. Which is great for starting out brewing, being fairly low complexity besides the sugar addition. Just bottled my first batch, so far very promising. It smells great, and looks great too. It's significantly more amber in color than the photo.

A solid gluten-free option for making beer at home
I've been homebrewing for several years, preferring "all grain" recipes. Several neighbors drink my beer, but one of them was recently diagnosed with celiac disease. Therefore no wheat, etc., products allowed due to gluten sensitivity....and beer is made from such grains. I tried this as an experiment for his sake, as it advertises itself as being gluten-free. You get a can of very thick syrup, a small packet of dried yeast, and some generic instructions. Brewferm makes several different kits that use the same basic procedures, and the instruction sheet covers all of their products. The procedure is fairly simple. First you heat the can in a hot water bath for a while to loosen the syrup up. Then you mix it with a certain amount of water and additional sugar, put it into your sanitized fermenting vessel and follow normal homebewing procedures (pitching the yeast, giving it a couple of weeks in the fermentor, bottling/kegging, etc.). I was very pleasantly surprised with the final product, and my neighbor was thrilled that he would still be able to enjoy some beer on a hot night. A different neighbor said that it ranked high out of the various brews I've made. The only reason this gets 4-stars instead of 5 is because there isn't really any warning about having to add several cups of additional sugar to the product in order to make the beer correctly. There is no mention of it until you get to the back of the instruction sheet at the very bottom where you see a chart listing their products. Unless you go through the instructions completely and carefully before you get started, you can get stuck part-way through while you run to the store to get more sugar. I should also note that Brewferm's different products make different amounts of beer while coming in the same-sized can. One can may make 9 liters (almost 2.5 gallons). Another can make as much as 20 liters -- which is more than twice the size. Make sure you have a fermenter big enough to hold the amount of beer that the can makes.

I shorted the recipe.
I shorted this recipe by a gallon and a half to increase abv also I added in orange marmalade and cinnamon. It spent 12 days in the fermentor and a month bottled in the fridge. (You can bottle condition in the fridge if it's above 32F, but it will take much longer.) It turned out to be a very nice holiday beer by new years. This was my first good batch of beer and can recommend this.

Fairly easy to brew, however
This review is for the Strong Blonde. This was fairly easy to brew - just need to follow the directions closely. As noted in the description, there is no boiling necessary, so it's quicker to mix and takes less cooling time to add the yeast. A couple reasons for only 3 stars - first, I didn't see anywhere in the description here that I needed to add sugar to the batch to brew (2.5 cups! No wonder it's a "strong" blonde!). For the cost of this, it should be a complete mix. The other reason is that they recommend 6 - 8 weeks (WEEKS!) in the bottle before drinking (says you can try it after 3 weeks, but it needs to "mature")! That seems like a bit much. I just brewed it last night and it's already foaming with the fermentation process the next morning (about 10 hours), so it looks like it's working. I'm brewing this in the Mr. Beer LBK from their kit, and it's a little fuller than their brews (2.5 gallons vs 2.0 gallons) and it's leaking out the top a little, but it seems to be working fine. I will definitely revise this when I try it. ****EDIT AFTER TASTING**** After six weeks (I think) I finally tasted it this weekend. It is a very good, but yes, strong, beer. I think some strawberry extract would probably help the flavor out. I'm satisfied and stick with the rest of my review

Make sure the yeast in included in the can!
As a new home brew guy, i was looking forward to this ale. I used everything in the kit, & after weeks of waiting i went to taste my brew. Smelled great, but flat as can be. Thinking the 5 cups of sugar would be a sub for yeast, i was wrong & somehow missed the yeast which was not included in the packaging but also i missed it in the directions. I have reached out to manufacturer & waiting to hear what, if anything, they will do.

Great Tasting Saison
This turned out to be a very nice refreshing beer. If you like a Session IPA then you'll like this. It's flavorful and on the light side. I made it a little different - I boiled the wort, adding Pilsen DME instead of sugar, and some bittering hops at the beginning of the boil. Will make a second batch soon. I also kept it to just over 3 gallons and bottled 3 cases.

Very nice hopped extract kit
Works as advertised, I used it as the malt base for a braggot (paired with 6 lbs of honey). I also used an alternative yeast, but everything was easy to use and I may go back and buy again to do as is. But superb quality.
