I was given a copy of this book as an engineering intern, and I bought this copy for the intern I mentored this year. It is somewhat dated and could use an update, but it still serves its purpose well. Review: Oversimplified Petroleum Engineering Course Text - The book was a very basic introduction to Petroleum Engineering. I expected more from the book as well as a being more thorough throughout the book. It gave me the impression of an oversimplified high school book. It was disappointing upon receiving this book that wouldn't even qualify as a textbook. I expected much more even as an introductory course.

Good Introduction
Excellent, simplified, and clearly illustrated reference on oil and gas production. I was given a copy of this book as an engineering intern, and I bought this copy for the intern I mentored this year. It is somewhat dated and could use an update, but it still serves its purpose well.
