Most ring lights sold are too small and aren't bright enough to really get the full benefit of a ring light. If the ring is too small then you dont get the circular shadow pattern on the background. If its not bright enough, too much ambient light bleeds in from windows/ambient lights and the effect is ruined. This is the perfect blend of price, size, and brightness. I'm glad they went with a plug instead of battery, its a good way to keep the cost down. If it were battery powered it wouldn't last very long, given how bright it was unless they used a larger (more expensive) battery. The color temp balancing was quick/easy. The overall user interface is simple enough for my 6 year old to figure out. Attaching my iPhone X was simple, and the rotating ball head was a nice touch. The fact that it comes with a nice heavy duty light stand was icing on the cake. They could have used a cheaper light stand and no one would have noticed.

I’m not tech savvy - I had my son set this up and show me the ropes so to speak. After about a year it’s all working very well, and I do use it about 6 hours a week, for online events. I can use the remote and have had no technical problems. I’m very pleased with the quality, and with the many levels of brightness. Hope this review is helpful.

This ring light is amazing! As a Pro- Makeup Artist and Fashion Photographer, the lighting is amazing! I love the ability to adjust the Temperatures /brightness of the light with the remote control. The catch light in the eyes is perfect. I love the durability. This is a must for any beauty/ fashion/makeup artist photographer or influencer.
