Royal Bilingual Flan Dessert Mix, Family Size, Fat Free 3.81 Ounce (Pack of 12)

This is the first time I ordered this product from Amazon. It is so delicious! It is fast and easy to prepare. When I made it for the first time, I followed the instructions and put the whole package of carmel sauce in. The effect was very dark, and the taste was the same and delicious, but the color was blackish and not good-looking. The second time I made it, I put less of the Carmel sauce, and then added a little water mix into it.,the effect was turn out perfectly . Now it looks delicious and good-looking. I'm going to repurchase and buy some for my friends and relatives to try.

I bought this product from Amazon several times in the past because of the quality, consistency and flavor of the product, however won't be able to continue buying it due to the outrageous price increase. I understand that prices of products have been up but I hope you reconsider your decision and lower the price to somewhere closer to the way it was a few of months ago. Your increased in prize of this product was about 80% way too high. Thank you so much for your understanding and hopefully I get to hear back from you.

Good like old egg custard

This price for a dozen boxes is amazing considering it's not bad for an instant flan. This contains twelve boxes and each one has a bag of flan mix (add milk) and a pouch of the caramel sauce. Put caramel sauce in bowls, Heat mix and the milk to a boil then gently add on top of sauce to cool. Literally takes five minutes to prep then time to cool. If you like flan or egg custard this is a super easy way to satisfy your craving. Flan as per direction and egg custard you could just not use the sauce but lightly sprinkle your nutmeg or cinnamon on top before cooling. It's not homemade but it's still very tasty and the price is great.

The flavor is mediocre, maybe because it says "fat free". However, flavor can be improved by adding about half a cup of brown sugar and adding caramel syrup (like you put on ice cream) to the caramel sauce included in the package.

I've used for years. 12 batch per winter season. 6 egg yolks, 2-3 tbsp vanilla, 1 qt. heavy whip cream + 1 qt half-and-half. Mix eggs with TWO boxes, add other stuff. Just to slow boil. Don't ever stop stirring. 8 Cups.

Excelente calidad

This flan is delicious and comes with the caramel sauce packet. It's the One that you have been looking for, that your grocery store no longer carries. Order it, you won't be disappointed. One things that threw me is that this flan is bilingual. I didn't even know that custard could talk! Does it have an accent? Is it easy to understand? Is there a language barrier? I can speak Spanish pretty well, but perhaps I should stick to English-speaking flan, just so there aren't any difficulties with communication.
