I have bought several books on medicinal plants. This book is outstanding. Written with care. Photography is clear. Way too much information to refer to as merely A text, but an encyclopedia written by experts, who know and love botany. I have been gardening all my life and began studying herbal medicine due Covid. There is so much to learn. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Just be careful and listen to your body. You are your best doctor

The field guide to plants and herbs was really detailed. Love the book, it has very good pictures and descriptions. good quality book. glossy pages so if you take it out in the field with you to identify plants you can wipe off any dirt. I am looking forward to going out with it to identify plants.

This book was recommended in several online plant groups I belong to. I am glad I ended up buying this book. It has a lot of color pictures to help ID plants along with great information on each. The book is well laid out and very easy to use. A great book to have whether you are a beginner, intermediate (like me), or experienced forager.

I've been wanting to learn more about edible plants and medicinal herbs and want to learn how to identify them while I'm on my hiking trips. I purchased this recently so I could start learning the plants in my region while I get ready for the upcoming hiking season. I love how everything is organized and a lot of thought went into this book. The full color and detailed pictures are appreciated and they definitely help you to make positive and proper plant identifications. You definitely need to know what you're eating and handling while out in the wilderness foraging. This book fits perfectly in my backpack and doesn't take up much room. It does have a little weight to it but it's super informative and I'm glad to have this now for my little trips.

This book did a great job of explaining how to use each of the plants for their natural medicinal uses and also explained what each plant does for you in great depth.
