In 6 months, went from 17 (deficient) to 50.4 (normal). Consumed evening right after dinner, about 0.5ml to 0.75ml. serving size is 1 ml (5000iu)

Slight orange flavor. I can only absorb Vitamin D sublingually, and this brand is much more pleasant than my previous purchase. I will definitely buy again.

Mixed with sunflower oil and has a hint of orange flavor. You need to take a full 1.0 ml of the dropper for 5000 IU Vit D, and it is not recommended for children which was a disappointment. I had another brand that just required 5 drops and was sweetened and I liked it much better but I don`t remember the brand name. The oily-ness is a little weird to swallow but the price point is good and Vit D is so important for immune function and mental wellness. The non-medicinal ingredients are sunflower oil and natural orange flavor.

I have used Solgar Vit D3, softgels both 5,000IU and 10,000IU for several years without much change in my bloodwork. Last year I started using the Solgar sublingual Vitamin D 5,000IU and have seen my vitamin D levels go from well below normal to almost mid-level normal range. I HIGHLY recommend the Solgar SUBLINGUAL form of Vit D! The sublingual form is a liquid oil from a dropper that goes under your tongue. I usually take a vitamin K2 along with it and have a bite of food ready to follow. I’m not thrilled with putting oil in my mouth, but the flavor isn’t aweful, just the slippery texture. Also highly recommend Carlson’s Cod liver oil for Omega 3.
