Ceva Confidence EQ Equine Appeasing Pheromone Gel (10x5 ml)

I have used Confidence EQ on my horse twice, when things were very unsettled at the stable. I think the product led to my horse being calmer, without being sleepy. I felt calmer & safer as a result. I think the calming effect carried over to the next day. I keep a packet of Confidence EQ in my carrot bucket for emergencies.

This worked great to calm my horse down who is reactive to other horses running up being him. Not a great thing for a potential drill horse. This calmed him right down, but is kind of messy to use.

Easy to use, although your horse might not care for the application. It didn't work for my horse so for him, this was a waste of money. It lasted maybe 10 minutes, just barely taking the edge off for that time. That being said, in all honesty, my guy is the high strung of high strung OTTBs and can be really dramatic at times. This, didn't work for him but if your horse isn't on a energy high as their default gear, it might work for yours.

I have tried a couple other "calming" supplements during trailer training with little to no effect. So I was pretty skeptical about the effectiveness of a pheromone. This, BY FAR, has worked the best! Thank you for helping travel be a less traumatic experience for my guy. We will continue using. :)

I use this on a show stallion to keep him from calling to mares while he is showing. I think this is much nicer to him than Vicks. Give it a try

Maybe this works but I wouldn’t know because my high strung mare would not let me anywhere near her nostrils which is where it’s meant to be applied.

My horse did not care for the smell but it did seem to help keep him much calmer. Take away - make sure you have a halter on your horse when you first apply it.

I love this product ! Unlike magnesium and other feed though calmers that can disrupt your horses gut, and take hours to start working. This works very quickly and is not like a sedative. It doesn’t make them dopey they just become happier and more accepting of the difficult situation.

Bought for the horse and they work great on it. But I was nervous and had forgotten my meds. Popped one of these and I was like Bob Marley. Chilled relaxed and not a care in the world. Sitting on the horse and jumping felt like riding a unicorn through a see of clouds. 1000% would reccomend
