Perfect for a little one. It is shaped more like a square, and I wish it was a little longer. Not too heavy. Washed well.

Okay for classroom use.
I love the larger size. The kids find it "very heavy" in a good way, but I don't find it too heavy in a bad way.The cover is inviting and cozy. However, the inner blanket moves around very easily inside the cover, so you have to make it spread out in order for it to do that. On its own, it tends to bunch in a corner.Overall, I like it for my classroom.

Perfect size!
My daughter keeps this at school to use as a sensory tool and it is the perfect size and weight for her. Material is also super soft and she loves the color

Triggered TSA alarm
My ADHD kid loved this but it was taken away at airport security because it, in its original packaging, triggered the TSA alarm. Be warned

Perfect for when a weighted blanket is too much
I find weighted blankets too heavy, and feel trapped under even light weighted ones. This lap pad has a pleasing weight, at only five pounds, and the size works pretty well for me. I primarily use it on top of my chest when laying on my back when relaxing in the evening.It is very soft. I enjoy that.
