Fit perfectly with the original! Had a little problem with the latch/hook part, Got it to line up with it by unscrewing the bolts a little. Very quiet when you close it. Material feels the same, maybe even thicker than oem. Very easy installation. Still a great product and would recommend this if your trying to find a new console for your mustang.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Seemed okay, bracket it came with did not fit properly, reused the old one. With using the old bracket the latch does not fully lock, so the lid can easily be lifted open with out much force. Installed it way past time to be able to return, so it will do.

Purchased this item to replace daughter’s 2006 mustang console lid. It was a perfect fit and she was beyond happy to have it installed.

Installed on a 2005 Ford Mustang. Latch did not line up the original setup. I moved the cover to the original bracket and everything lined up fine. 5 star for looks 4 stars for the minor bracket issue.

It didn’t fit easy but took off brackets from the one in the car and moved to the new cover. Looks good and fits well.

Replacement Armrest for a 2007 Mustang V6. Very solid and easy to replace. Quality as good as OEM.

Purchased the car with an OEM one that had a crack it eventually gave in so I ordered this as a replacement. The latch was off by hair so I couldn’t screw it in so I took the latch off the OEM one to even get it on. Once on the actual latch to keep it closed doesn’t fit so it just lays down, wouldn’t recommend. Going to end up getting an OEM one and would suggest you just spend the money and do the same.
