I really loved the quality and variety of the woods in this kit. They looked great and I was able to put them to use immediately.

Bought these for my husband to make pens and they all work great! Makes great looking pens out if all the wood in this package.

Overall good quality wood and turns well. I do wish the wood had came with a gentle wax coat to protect from moisture until use, like many wood suppliers do. Also, the Purpleheart blanks are of inferior quality. They look much more brown than purple. However, if you're just starting on the lathe and want cheap stuff to practice on - can't go wrong with this bundle.

I bought this as a gift to give my husband for pen/pencil set blanks. It offers a nice variety of wood for his projects. He's also able to cut the blanks to size the block for bottle stopper tops, which makes a nice look when he carves into shape on his lathe.

Anxious to start turning these blanks. Outstanding variety and dimensions are spot on. Excellent value!!

Missing one Bloodwood, got one extra Jatioba. Not a big deal, but I really needed 6 Bloodwood. Otherwise the finish is nice and the size is accurate.
