This stuff works.
This actually works! Mosquitos seem to love this family - if there's 1 in a forest, it'll find us. But this keeps them all away! WIN!

Works Well But Harder to Spray
We live on an estuary in Florida and the mosquitos and no-seeums are thick in the mornings and evenings. I apply a deet or picaridin spray on my feet, and a Lemon Eucalyptus repellent on my face, ears, and neck, and spray my long sleeve UPF jacket and long pants with a picaridin spray for clothes. I also wear gloves when working. I chose three different brands based on reviews by Consumer Reports and Consumer Lab. They all seem to work equally well but the Ben's version was harder for me to spay with arthritis.

Almost perfect!
This is quite possibly the BEST mosquito repellant I’ve ever used. It lasts for a long time and doesn’t smell really pungent like other bug sprays, however there are two things to note: 1. It doesn’t dry down like typical bug sprays, it almost stays kind of like an oil in the skin. Maybe this is what helps it last longer, but I would be mindful of delicate type fabrics. While I never had an issue with it staining, it’s possible that it could due to it not drying down fully. 2. The sprayer should be improved. The spray comes out as more of a stream. Even at several feet away, it doesn’t come out like you would expect, so coverage lacks if you’re looking to get an even mist over your body and clothing. You almost need to rub it over your skin for an even coverage. Even though this has these two flaws, I would still definitely repurchase for the effectiveness alone.

Works well
The insect control works well. It is not a good value for the money.

Doesn't work like like the wipes* update spray complety ineffective
Our major issues, living by a lake and marsh are no-seeums, mosquitoes, ticks, and deer flies. I had only bought the wipes before and they worked great. I bought these sprays and they don't work as well. They seem to work on mosquitoes, okay/iffy on no-seeums, and definitely don't work on deer flies. Since I had kids, I'm a magnet for all these bugs and have severe reactions to deer fly bites. The wipes were the best- far and above anything I found in the stores (even with higher amounts of DEET). With these sprays...I've sprayed myself with this to the point my exposed limbs are wet, even spray my clothes until damp and I'm still getting bitten by deer flies. One other problem is the top of the sprayer leaks when you spray and you wind up with whatever finger or thumb you use to spray covered in the chemicals. It's really messy. At least I'm not getting bit by mosquitoes, but the spray doesn't seem to be as effective as the wipes. And, as I wrote, it's messy so hard to take along on outings... bring a plastic bag to store and bring wipes for your hands. *update August 2023 I bought 2 more cans of spray and sat outside for a bit. I have been bitten by mosquitoes numerous times even though I sprayed myself enough that my legs and clothing are completely wet with the contents. As I'm typing this I'm outside being inundated with mosquitoes. I'm going back to a much higher DEET product. *Update June 2024... tried this again just to make sure it wasn't a bad batch...because the wipes were so good...and it still doesn't work. I've had to coat myself with this spray, spray the chair while sitting outside and still getting bitten and accosted by mosquitoes, biting flies, and no-seeums. All pests seem completely immune, not deterred at all. I'm absolutely done with this product.

One of the best I've ever used
As an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast, I've tried my fair share of insect repellents. Ben's Tick & Insect Repellent Eco Spray stands out as one of the best I've ever used. Not only is it incredibly effective at repelling ticks, mosquitoes, and other pesky insects, but it's also made with plant-based ingredients, making it a safe and eco-conscious choice for myself and my family. I love that I can enjoy nature without worrying about harmful chemicals or harsh smells. The spray is easy to apply and leaves a pleasant, natural scent. I've even used it on my dog, and it works like a charm! I highly recommend Ben's Tick & Insect Repellent Eco Spray to anyone looking for a reliable, effective, and environmentally friendly insect repellent. It's a must-have for any outdoor adventure!
