I ordered the 1st 1 and about a week or so later it just would not come on. It was working and I put it on the charger, took it off and it was a blank screen, when we got it , we had problems setting it up . It took a while to get it up and running and I had a feeling it wasn’t right. So, after messing with it for a couple hours we got it to work but it wouldn’t load correctly. It was really slow. So, I wrote in for a exchange, I had misgivings about getting the same 1 but I decided to try it anyway. You could tell it was much better, it loaded right and the touch screen was good and so far so good. I will let you know in a couple weeks how it works. I got the 2nd 1 sent to me the next day, which was great for my Granddaughter so she didn’t go to long without it. Guess it’s off to Kohls to return the 1st 1, wish it was closer , but the exchange went good. Thanks Amazon for not making it a hassle.... Karen

I got this tablet for my mitred conure to watch kids tv on and he LOVES it. Only issue is the short battery life but you get what you pay for. He sits on his rope perch and watches the screen for hours and chats to it. He taught himself how to turn it off when he gets overwhelmed as well. If you have a parrot this is a great way to give them extra enrichment during the day as they require so much variety in enrichment- mostly foraging, shredding toys, but watching his cartoons while I’m at work/ school really helps him engage in an entertaining activity. I’m also buying him a kids xylophone piano soon and a play sink. Only thing is to keep the tablet away from the water dish as I didn’t consider this in the beginning and it got wet when he bathed. But yea. Parrot is crazy about it. He’s not big on chewing the rubber thankfully but I think most birds would be- so you may have to have a harder cover- if you have a large bird with a harder PSI bite force you would have to have this a distance outside the cage so they don’t bite through it. Fletcher doesn’t get aggressive about screens though luckily. But to reiterate. Parrot- completely stoked about this device.

I bought this tablet for my 2-year-old who is transitioning into a toddler bed. My 6-year-old lays down with her tablet an hour before bedtime and I thought it would make it fair for the toddler to have one. From the start, i had difficulty getting it to come on and booting up properly. Then I had a hard time just swiping the screen on. My toddler can almost never get the screen on which results in meltdowns. It's extremely delayed when you tap on the screen icons or select videos which results in more meltdowns from the toddler. Multiple times I've tried to log in for parental controls and it won't accept my password. (I will type in the exact password four or five times before it finally accepts it.) I have the parental control to lock the tablet up between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. but at 8:00 in the morning it won't let me turn it on because it says it's still bedtime. Random times throughout the day it will lock up and I will have to fight with my password to unlock this stupid device. I wish I had not wasted the money. It's much more hassle than it's worth for me. Update: we've had this tablet for about 6 months now. A couple of months ago began rebooting on its own throughout the day. It's become progressively more difficult to get off of the lock screen and now you can't get it off at all. If you do manage to somehow get it off lock screen you can't click on anything on the home screen. The touch screen is basically shot. I would blame it on the kid but I have been having problems with it since we opened it out of the box. A few months ago it started losing battery power. A battery used to last about a day and a half from a full charge to dead. For about the last month, it'll last about 6 hours from a full charge. But now it don't matter cuz it just don't work. I will never buy this brand again. My friend who also watches my kid got an identical one for over at her house and within a month was having the same issues.

Update 4 months later. The tablet stopped getting as hot. However it got set on the parent account and will not go back into the kid account. I tried to reset it to get it back to when we got it and now it won't do anything. Do not waste your money. My toddler did love this tablet and honestly it was great when it worked but now it's useless after just a few months. I'll update this if needed but here we go. I just received this tablet today and YouTube kids will not open, it automatically kicks out and doesn't get past the load screen. The battery does incredibly fast, and I put it on charge and this thing gets so hot it almost burned my hand. I'm going to most likely be returning it because right now I'm very dissatisfied.

I downloaded some app for my toddler and it didn't even open. The tablet is so slow, I think the RAM is too small. The touch screen doesn't work well. You have to click on the screen several times to get a response. It is so frustrating even for adults to use it. We even tried to reset the tablet but it doesn't allow you to reset. It states that you need permission from an administrator to reset it. Who is the administrator??? This is a very poorly designed toddler laptop. I will not recommend this product to any parent. I decided to buy an Apple IPad 10th Gen for CDN$ 800 last week thursday. It is alot better than all this stress. I thought I would save some dollars by buying this kids tablet. Honestly, it is a terrible product that doesn't work.
