A finely-crafted, smooth paste with a very pleasant scent. Tea Tree may be nature's miracle, but I've never been a fan of the scent. This product however has a very subtle scent. The paste itself is smooth, and applies easily. I needed something with a firmer consistency that I could put on certain areas of my face, without running or stinging. This is just that. No irritation, clogging of pores, stinging of eyes, or running. Also perfect for those European tanners who need some protection on their.... uhm, nips.

People complain about the smell but it doesn’t bother me. Its smells like cacao with a hint of tiger balm. My main problem with this product is that it rubs off too easily. Unlike the MANDA sun paste which is what I wanted but is sold out everywhere, this stuff never really sets. It remains greasy and sticky. As such, it rubs off very easily and you will get burned when it does. I guess it’s fine if you are hyper-aware about not touching your face. As soon as you pull on a shirt or scratch your nose you need to reapply this stuff.

I'm allergic to many chemicals in skin care products (especially SLS) so I'm always on the lookout for excellent "clean" products - this is one of them. I live on the beach and have to protect my face from sun - I apply this daily every morning as part of my routine. My skin loves it and it smells wonderful and I don't get sun burned. Also, I find it's a wonderful "primer" under my bare minerals powder. I love the MUD!

Havent found a proper way of applying it, maybe its just me. I feel like the stick packaging would have been better, personally. I found that i kept digging my nail into the tin to pick up enough product to cover larger areas of my body. I'm thinking i'm going to go through the whole tin way too fast. I will say that it feels nice on the skin, Kept me from burning and had a pleasant herbaceous scent. Would i buy again? Maybe

The smell is noticeable, but pleasant unless you do not like the ingredients. As long as you let it melt a little on your fingers spreading isn't too bad. Nothing like traditional sunblock, but if you don't want a bunch of harmful ingredients, not only to you but to the environment, this is a great alternative.

I saw a review in a magazine about this. Said nothing got through this. Went to a waterpark and reapplied frequently and got quite a tan regardless

I thought the product would have a more pleasent scent. It is medicinal. Luckily it fades, but when you first apply it it stinks.

This has such a lovely texture and smell! It's so nice on the skin and doesn't feel heavy. However, I do a lot of intense water sports and it didn't hold up under those conditions for as long as some other kinds of sunscreen that I normally use when I'm crashing around in the water. Still, for a more mellow day in the sun or water I will definitely continue to use.
