These are totally functional glasses. Light-weight. Sorta cute. But I look like a grandma in them. And yeah, I may BE a grandma, but I'm not quite ready to LOOK this grandma-ish. You can't beat the convenience of being able to see distance and up close without having to shift your head to look over your reading glasses. PLUS, you will get fewer forehead wrinkles if you stop trying to see over your reading glasses...so yeah, these definitely have their place in my arsenal. Super slim which would be nice if they came with a hard slim case, but they come with a standard vinyl case.

I just had cataract surgery and I can now see far but still cannot see up close. These reading glasses are perfect because I can leave them on my face, see out, and then when I look down I am seeing through these little glasses and can read everything. Yes, I may look like a little granny now with these glasses but I don't care. They fit my purpose. And I didn't wanna have to go back to wearing glasses full-time. This is a great compromise for me.

These reading glasses are terrific! I had cataract surgery, and seeing closely was almost impossible, my eye specialist said, all you need to do is go to the drug store and buy you some 2.0 or 2.5 reading glasses over the counter, instead, I always turn to the most easiest way to shop for anything is AMAZON ! Looked on there and found these half rim reading glasses not only did they have a wonderful price, they offered three pair for one perfect price! How great is that!!! So I made two orders of which came six pair of readers. Wow what a deal, I plan to buy 3 more pair and leave a pair in every room in my house, maybe even a pair on the porch!I highly recommend these glasses, I keep a pair at all times on the end of my nose, I can’t even tell I’m wearing anything, their so light! I just love these glasses! What a great buy!!!

Great weight and sturdiness

These are perfect for sewing, painting, reading - I can glance up and look out at the world without removing these glasses. The cases a sturdy and come with cleaning cloths that work well. I've had them for a while and by being careful they are holding up. I do have a tiny scratch on one pair from putting them glass side down -don't do that - I really like these glasses and will purchase extra pair.

I like the red and steel grey colors. They don't stay up on my nose as they slide too much to the end of my nose. I'm not sure how sturdy they'll be in the long run.
