Who Was Frida Kahlo? Paperback – December 26, 2013

My 8 year old son absolutely LOVES these books. It's a great way for young kids to learn about history in a fun way. And they're easy reads, so he goes thru them quick and feels super accomplished the more he reads. Great series.

I’m in love with these books, and so is my son. Such a great way to get them to read a little more. Especially for book reports these books have all main details of each Person. Love them will definitely purchase more.

I read this for my ELD 1/2 students who needed something more relatable and interesting, They loved it, Frida's story here is engaging and helps students practice vocabulary and reading comprehension!

It’s a small book but nice for the kids.

Enjoy reading/listening to books on notable people that are interesting and get to the point. Find it challenging as a senior with eyesight changing to become immersed in long books. Cannot afford your monthly book/audible program. Wish I could. So I catch what I can, when I can.

My 6 year old loves this story. This is a great intro story for a young person. While it leaves out some of the more colorful aspects of her life it doesn’t forget how mischievous she was or how much her and her husband didn’t get along. I loved that it was touched on how she created her style of painting. I was able to expand on those concepts with my daughter and it was a great impromptu art history lesson. We will be riding more of these books.
