You just can't stop looking at your pc with all the lights
The Corsair fans are fantastic. I bought four, and they sync perfectly with my CPU cooler and graphics card. The lighting is vibrant, and the airflow is solid, making them both functional and visually impressive. Highly recommend for any RGB setup! They're extremely quiet which makes them ideal for doing a multitude of tasks whether work related, personal or gaming. PROs: - They look beautiful and sleek, whilst also syncing up to your other Corsair lights. - Very quiet - Easy to install

Fantastic LED fans but with a possible flaw.
As everyone who builds their own PC knows, selecting the parts is a long process to get everything right for your dream machine and getting the right fans is a big part of this as they often provide most of the lighting effects. I spent ages deciding which fans to get and ended up selecting Corsair's QL fans mainly because of the way they look and especially as they have the LED's on both sides as the 6 that I was installing would all be intake fans and therefore I'd be seeing the back of them. I also like how everything gels so nicely with Corsair's iCUE software which now even lets you control nanoleaf panels. (I currently use iCUE to control the lighting on the 6 QL fans, memory modules, motherboard, GPU, keyboard, mouse, mouse mat and 2 sets of nanoleaf panels and all work seamlessly together) Installation is a real chore however due to the fact each fan has 2 cables for power and lighting so you end up with quite a mess of cables that provides a challenge for tidy cable management although I was building in Lian-Li's 011 Dynamic case which is a dual chamber and helps to hide most of the cable management. I used one of the lighting node core's that come with the triple pack of fans to connect the LED cables and this was then connected to a Commander Pro along with the power cables. A load of zip ties are necessary to help with tidying all the cables! Once I had the fan curves set up correctly (Corsair's standard curves are too generic and produce too much noise) the fans run with little noise and can hardly be noticed in the background, in fact under heavy gaming it's the NZXT fans I have installed on their AIO that make most of the noise, and the QL's are still relatively quiet, so much so that I'm tempted to replace the NZXT fans with more QL fans. Once everything is configured sitting back and admiring the huge number of lighting effects is very satisfying, however this is where the flaw appeared. As with many other reviews I've seen, I noticed with certain colour combinations that some of the leds were coloured incorrectly, the first fan did this only a couple of months in to using them. Once I realized it was a fault on one of the leds I would either turn that led off or use a colour that didn't show it but when the problem started on all six fans with multiple leds on each fan I decided to follow up with Corsair as I felt for the cost they should be perfect. Corsair were relatively quick to respond and I communicated back and fore via email with the same tech who provided 2 options. 1. standard RMA which means sending them to Corsair for inspection and once they were satisfied they were faulty they would send replacements. Or 2. Expedited RMA where Corsair charges your credit card and sends out replacements straight away, once received you send the faulty ones back in the prepaid envelope that comes with your replacements and once they examine them and agree they're faulty they refund your credit card. It was only after they had all the info including proof of purchase that they suddenly requested another photo of the fans showing the faults with all lights set to white and when I sent this to them they decided that they wouldn't bother with the RMA and just sent out 6 replacement fans without me having to return the faulty ones which was appreciated. So in summary, PROs 1. Fantastic look and large number of leds making them extremely configurable 2. Work seamlessly with iCUE software 3. Very Quiet running once fan curves are configured CONs 1. Expensive 2. Cabling nightmare, especially if used in cases that are not dual chamber 3. Possible LED faults (although hard to determine just how widespread this is as more often or not people only leave reviews when they have a problem) and a real pain to have to remove and reinstall. Personally, I love the look of these fans so much I'd take the risk with the fault, especially as the warranty is 2 years and my experience with Corsair's after sales was quite good. I think the only other fans I'd consider at the moment are Lian-Li's new Infinity uni-fans which not only look stunning but they seem to have nailed the cabling issues with their interlocking fan set up. The only thing against those for me is that I'm heavily invested in Corsairs iCUE software but we'll see when I next upgrade or rebuild :-) Hope this review helps anyone who's considering these fans.

Really nice but unreliable with 5/6 fans having dead LEDs after a couple of Months.
These fans were quite expensive but they look really good once installed and configured qith the icue software. The colours are really bright and vibrant. Noise level varies depending on speed, but at low levels are really quiet. Unfortuntley, after a few Months, a number of these fans have had LED colour issues or died. I've bought 6 fans for my computer with 3 failing within a couple of Months. Corsair were super helpful with the warranty process and replaced these 3. A Month later, 2 more of the original 6 had the same issue. Nice fans, but I'd be hesitent to buy again unless these issues are addressed. It's an absolutle pain to pull them out and rewire replacements everytime they fail.

Very expensive, bordering on criminal/diabolical pricing IMO, unless you have watched it every waking moment and get it on sale like I did. (I get that LEDs contain a very very small quantity of precious earth metal, but really now the markup on these must be nuts). Luckily it dropped to 135 CAD and my patience paid off literally. I love RGB stuff I would eat it and drink it if it wouldn't kill me, I want a freaking rainbow coming out of my mouth at all times (crazy but its so true). I love that it bothers people and I want it even more when I see new stuff like these fans. I will not however pay full price for anything EVER, pandemic or not scarcity vs abundance of inventory does not justify gouging, curse you profit margins! Now about the product it is very VERY nice the colours are so vibrant and BRIGHT and have more settings than I will ever use. I have been building rigs for over 20 years working in the trenches of I.T, these are very quiet even at full speed they replaced ancient but still functioning Thermaltake Lunas I bought when the dinosaurs still roamed the earth. These QL120s have rubber grommets around the screw holes to prevent vibration which helps because they are mounted right in front of my HDDs. icue is very clunky (just a mess of design over function) but it works and the node core installed fine. The icue does let you put different colours on the front and back of the fan which is a very cool trick. Minor pet peeves: Beware each of these things have both one regular PWM cable and a separate RGB cable, one goes to the board to power it one to the node core box to control the RGB functions. I hate hate hate extra additional messes of cables to tie up and route but it's worth the light show. The manual specifies that the node core box requires one USB header on the motherboard as well as an additional SATA power connection, I like that the cables are built in to the core box and you can't bork it by removing the cable at both ends but as before I hate extra cables. Overall a worthwhile purchase if you have the means.
