Felt lumpy and gritty when using the product will not be buying again

I've been using this product for a couple of years and this is a good sealant. I would not say it is moisturizing because it is a butter and if I'm not mistaken, there is no water in it to hint it could be a moisturizing product. I have 4c hair and I use this product in my lcob (leavein conditioner, cream, oil, and butter) method for my hair to lock in the other moisturizing products I use. As a sealant, this product does a great job and smells great. I do have to return the recent jar I got because the texture is off and it doesn't smell like the one I currently have. The butter is supposed to be smooth like butter, if you get a grainy batch send it back.

This product make your hair feel moisturized. I have color treested hair and this products is awesome.

When I got the hair butter I tried it on my hair. It was VERY gritty and VERY grainy. I contacted the seller and ask "I purchased your Hawaiian Silky Mango and Murumuru Butter Hair Butter, it is very gritty and grainy is this how it is supposed to be? and here is there response. "Hello Carla: Yes, the texture of the product you described is correct." If this is how the hair butter is supposed to be then they should quit making it. It should not be gritty and it should not be grainy.. So of course, I will never purchase that again. What a waste of money.
