Stanley Powerlock 12 foot tape measure model 33-312
A light weight tape measure. Works great on a belt all day. I didn’t know the first 12 inches were marked in 32nds but it doesn’t matter for what I need.

False. Not metal. Will be returning until I get some that are metal. Update, Stanley was unable to help me get the one I actually wanted, even when contacting them directly. I was given a free engineer’s tape measure (has decimals on half - not helpful for carpentry), but only because the first representative was extremely rude and disrespectful. If you want a metal casing, and are good with a slightly narrower blade, try the 33-212. I am a woodworker by trade, and I use those every day.

Stanley tape measures are usually pretty good quality. Most of the time I am not measuring more than 12' so this is about half the weight/bulk that I carry around in my pocket working in the shop on small projects.

Have used this similar tape measure for years. I'm so happy to have found the exact one . Now I have two new ones .
