Lay's Potato Chips, Classic, 10 Ounce (Pack of 4)

Lays is the colossus in salty snacks. As a result, you can get these chips, delicate and perfect, at a great price and in perfect condition in the store or even on line. They are not for dipping by any means but for snacking, there is nothing finer. Just don't double dip, or dip even once. For that, use Ruffles or Wavy Lays for your party's dipping needs...Footnote: Lays makes these chips larger than the snack pack chips because they use smaller potatoes for the snack pack bags(1 ounce, etc.)

This chips.... this chips.... I love Lay's Classic chips. I had to order it all the way from the US to Africa because it was SCARCE!!! I just love the taste, the pack and everything else. Trust me... I don't share this chips.....lolThe packaging was good, I was skeptical at first when I ordered it. Well it got to me in Africa well packaged and FRESH as ever!!!

These are fragile chips. Does not take a rocket scientist to realize that shipping them through the mail or package delivery system requires some consideration. The packaging was so poor for my order, 2 bags had burst open spilling some of their content into the shipping box, and many of the chips in the open bags were broken into smaller pieces. I can only assume that the chips in the other 4 bags will be broken into to smaller pieces as well.

I ordered several packages of these for a party we were having and I have to say I was totally disappointed. The bags contained what looked like the leftovers of the good chips. Completely broken up and not at all tasty any more. In fairness, I don't believe this has anything to do with the packaging. I've gotten them from the store also and sometimes they are all smashed up inside just like these. Also, I find that great flavor is missing, the chips themselves seem to be thicker these days, losing that great, crispness that we all used to love. All in all, I don't think I'll be buying anymore Lay's. I believe the product is just substandard anymore.

If you can't get to a store to buy chips the fresh and crisp condition of this product makes it worth ordering.

I gave this product 4 stars out of 5 because ordinarily, this is a high quality product. However, if one ever has a problem with this product (like packages being delivered in opened condition) and calls the 800 number on the back of packages for consumers, what you will get is a Lays consumer rep who is trained to treat complainants with contempt and to allow them less than the minimum compensation for problem Lays products. The 800 number on the back of Lays products is purely for marketing, not for resolving complaints.

What can you say that hasn't been said before? 'You CAN'T eat just one', it's so true.. I can remember moving from California to Idaho many years ago and I missed the potato chips I grew up on, Laura Scudders and Blue Bell.. Idaho didn't have either brand at that time but they did have Lay's.. At first I wasn't very fond of them, I didn't think they were as crispy or salty enough but they've improved greatly over the years and, of course, I love them now.. I still like to try different brands and some are VERY good but Lay's are what I usually buy.. It's amazing how much the price has gone up over the years though everything else has too.. But, I can recall buying a bag this size for $1.49 just a few years ago.. Guess those days are gone for good.. lol!

this is a great price for 4 and I always keep it handy for tv/movie night. great flavor and great price. never broken pieces always shipped very well and promptly.
