comica CVM-MT06 Microphone

Osmo pocket needs this mic to zone in the sound for better videos. Works great

This is a review for the Comica CVM-MT06 Osmo Pocket Microphone. Originally purchased as a candidate to improve the microphone pickup for sound, particularly for female voices that hit this strange "pocket of mumble" as I like to call it. In short, the improvement in pickup pattern wasn't significant enough to add this to the osmo kit, and in fact would introduce hand noise and cell phone interference (if shooting with the cellphone attached to osmo) from the cable (but to be fair, I think ALL external mics would give this a problem if close enough to the phone).Added to the fact that the mounting solution is sort of a solution, but requires you to unlatch every time you'd like to stow and is incompatible with other housing solutions. The microphone CAN be unscrewed and will attached to other solutions, like a cold shoe, at that point, the osmo rig enters this weird size and form factor that makes the osmo pocket a hassle to setup quickly or use without feeling awkward.

Works well but you need to buy an additional adapter to plug it into the c port

Easy to set up. Great sound.
