You have to be a skilled seamstress to work this thing. I used it once and it’s been in the bottom of the drawer ever since. I’ve gone back to hand sewing.

Awful design. It’s hard to lift up the fastening plate and put fabric in. There’s no good place to hold it and you end up pushing down the needle and plate before you put the fabric in. It also can’t seem to handle anything thicker than a sheet of paper and will start dropping stitches or stop stitching altogether. The only stitch is chain stitch and you have to tie a knot after removing the fabric, otherwise everything unravels.

Not very easy to use bought two different types neither work the same. They don’t work very well. Ok for me Dong a seam maybe. Or teach a young one to sew little pieces of fabric but that’s about it.

I bought this item specifically for making a mask. It required some practicing to get the hang of it but once I did it worked well. It also takes a little bit of practice to learn to move the cloth through while holding the device and keeping the stitch in a straight line. But once you get the hang of it, it goes pretty smoothly. The only thing is that once the last stitch is made you will need to manually put in a back stitch and knot to secure it otherwise the whole thing comes undone. As a beginner to sewing it took me 2 hours to make the face mask with this tool. I would buy again and recommend it!

Unfortunately this handheld machine like many others does not work as well as you think. It may work for the first couple uses then stops working. Save your money for an actual machine that will not give you issues. The product came in well packaged and pretty (because it's pink). It is light weight, did require batteries and was pretty easy to use. Which is why i am giving two stars. The machine stops sewing and gripping onto the latch plate after a couple uses.

It does what its supposed too. Works good only hard thing was tying the knot at the end. It’s no high end machine. For the price I am satisfied would recommend for light sewing. It did help to watch YouTube videos on how to handle a handheld machine like this as far as troubleshooting and threading pretty basic stuff.

I wanted a sewing machine fast and cheap. Big mistake! Did some research and decided on a hand held machine instead of a regular one and after shopping around decided on this one since the shipping was the quickest, price was right and extras (thread, measuring band, extra needle, etc.) included. The shipping was indeed super fast, even faster than the estimated date but it just went downhill from here. The machine does not work! It's the cheapest of the cheapest. It came with the hook to pull the thread underneath jammed. We watched endless tutorials on how to trouble shoot but nothing worked and I ended up returning. Like I said don't waste your time! We all want fast shipping and save money especially now but at the end you will just end up returning this, ordering a different product and it'll take longer than picking a better sewing machine in the first place.

I am so glad i ordered this sewing machine. I am now using it to sell mask for covid-19 amd im already bookied and making money. I love Amazon prime. Fast free delivery. Worth all 5 stars.
