Cost effective converter, strong outer case and connection points, can be powered using a standard usb power bank. Provides a consistent and stable hdmi to sdi signal.

This item was hardly ever used & it has stopped working in less than a year. I wouldn't recommend it, better choices are available.

I had to return mine but works well with SDI at HD but not 4K. Worked out that the quality of the SDI cable makes a big difference. You can use a external battery to power the unit and glue gun a shoe mount onto it. So well worth the money.

I was very disappointed when the product failed to work for me. I swapped it with a known good converter box but no output from this box. I was on the point of returning it. I decided to try it with a different power supply. A higher voltage power supply. The specification says 5V to 12V. The power supply supplied was just 5 Volts. Just at the lowest limit of its operating power requirements. But when a 12 Volt power supply was used, it worked fine on my lounge TV. But not where I really want to use it.

The product perform as expected. The price is not expensive. Additional review will be helpful after a year to see its overall performance for a whole year.

These used to be rock solid but they are now quite unreliable probably due to a different chipset or manufacturing process. Have gone back to Black Magic Design.

Great product, really cheap but effective way of getting hdmi signal into an sdi device.

I purchased four of these hoping to be able to capture at 60fps, to later slow to 30fps for a slow-motion replay. Turns out, while the device accepts a 1080p60 HDMI signal, the SDI output is at half the frame rate, 1080p60 -> 1080p30, 1080p50->1080p25. Blantant false advertising. Tested with a range of HDMI sources and a BlackMagic Decklink duo 2 capture card.

Very bad quality product. it doesn't work it broke within a few months. Seller doesn't respond to emails.

In the area of low cost adapters like these, these are my definite go to. They have proven reliable in our productions.
